Does anybody know any good windscreen fitters as I need a screen fitting urgent ! I have herd they can be a hard to fit to corrados so I want some one who has done a few . They need to be mobile because the car is not on the road yet ... I have already got the screen from VAG so could be a nice cash job for someone...

Yeh they do remind me of the corrado i will check out the S2 forum nice one ..

I have been thinking about buying one of these and was wondering what people know and think about them??? I will not be selling my corrado as i dont think i could ever bring myself to do that but need a car with more power and a car i can have some fun in .. I have only herd good things about the S2 has anybody got any bad points or expeariances with these cars ??? I like the idea of 290bhp with just a re map can you get any more out of them with out cooking it mayby a front mount and full exhaust ?????

I havent had any encounrs with a vxr in my c vr6 but if i did and the person in the vxr knew how to drive i think it would make my vr6 look slow especially off the mark ... the vr6 feels fast from 40 to 120 but lacks the instant power a turbo car has got .. The other day a i had a incedent with a chav in a scooby and it was alot faster than my vr off the mark but not so much different at higher speeds .. most of the time i try not to race chavs in fast cars because usualey they dont know their limits or the cars limits ... I only ever drive my car hard late at night or when no one else is on the road because it can get dangerous ...

yeh it should be a really easy adjustment to get your door to sit correctley if you remove and replace the catch post on the c piller with a 15 mm socket their is a floating bracket that is easy to adjusts as you tighten the new catch in place .. take it apart and it will all be odvious ..

I have just about had enough of the way my corrados doors did not shut propely without slamming them so this week i went to VAG and bought two new catch posts the ones that mount on the b piller as the plastic washer had aged and was damaged so i replaced them and adjusted them so now the door shuts perfect no need to slam it any more its great and cost only pounds from VAG .. However at the same time i decided to buy new check straps as mine had started to make a anoying clicking sound as you open the door . The new ones are much stiffer and almost seem too stiff and the mounting bracket that attaches to the a piller and it does not look like it is solid enough to take the strain. Has anyone else changed their check straps and found this ???? i am in two minds to try and find some second hand ones that are still good as they would not have the same resistance .. i am just alittle worreyed that if they dont get any looser that over time the post will come away from the body .

nice one thats just the trick ....

I have a set of bbs rk split rims but they are looking abit on the tatty side and could do with a refurb .. With them being a two pieace rim not many places will refurb them unless i strip them myself .. Has any one striped a set before and is it just a case of removing all the studs or is in not that simple ????

i might buy the new pins from VAG and whils i am at it i might replace the check strap between the door and car as mine clicks ... has any one fitted one of these yet ?????
-
that gt alarm is a good few years old and like most of the gt systems it has probably gone falty ... it is a good feeling when you get somthing to work and it does not cost you much but i think i would not bother trying to get fobs i realy think you would be much better replacing the system ...

Being a corrado lover myself in the car crime capital of the uk i know how important it is to protect your car . Their is nothing worse than finding your car has been broken into their is glass every where your sound syestem has been removed by a screwdriver leaving your dash damaged ..In some cases the doors are bent locks punched and even your car not being seen ever again ... it is a truly horible feeling knowing that some little scum bag has been in your pride and joy and caused all this damage for a few quick £££ .. :x I have been a insurance approved alarm installer for 7 years i am mobile in the yorkshire area and can offer you the best quality alarm instilation at the best price .. Alarms fitted (clifford , Avital , Viper , Hornet) all 5 year warrenty.. phone kits also fitted mobile... please pm me for a quote today you wont be disiponted ...
