  1. always enjoy looking in here, your ever active with your car.exellent. where abouts in cumbria are you? mine could do with a mates repspraying  i got a g plate g60 (in bits at the mo but i'm sure i got all the screws to put it back together!!) best of luck with yours. sweet.
  2. hi fellow corrado owners.. well beside the sunroof, both door handles until now its never actually been serious :censored: fires up fine, then above tickover feels like is straining, then at wot simply dies. so,i went round the easy things, pipework etc, nothing. after much searching and reading i whip off the charger(or infact take half a day of effin and jeffin) after splitting it i find one of the strips had come loose and is rattling around in the charger.it fitted back in perfectly.i just hope this is the problem and they hadn't fallen out as i was gently tapping the halves. so, now i have the experiance, without snow outside(today) its an hour or so to refit/undo again. is it worth refitting(it was serviced end 06 at jabba) and all the bearings are sound. or could anyone point me in the direction of just buying the new strips and springs so i can have piece of mind. oh,while i'm on,anyone got any door handles.....he he.the old ones have had the fix,now they seem to have actually snapped>! and should i get out my dremmel on those ports?is it that simple? ha ha
  3. thankyou guys, :salute: hopefully its the slave as thats the cheaper of the two options! told her indoors we'll have to keep it :norty:
  4. hi good people. i have a corrado g60 which has now come up with a NEW problem(i mean other than door handles, sunroof, fuel consumption!!...) now,a little background...the clutch has stayed down a few times recently but a quick pull back up and all was well again. now, this time, its gone down, and stayed down.my mechanic is scratching his head between slave,or master cylinder as he has to buy in the part obviously, which if its the wrong one,it'll cost me twice over.. :pale: any ideas fellow corrado owners? was mean't to be sold tommorow to a guy who followed my missus and offered her 2k in cash for it,how typical. thanks in advance stu
  5. mmm, same here(91 g60).sounding more expensive by the week. whatever it is,when it breaks,i'll fix it. only does it setting off from a standstill though, and only in 1st or reverse...clutch out, clunk. not in any other gears,or at engine speeds/aggresive gearchanges. :?: been at vw when it was first starting and they claimed there was nothing amiss(even though i took the guy out and SHOWED him the clunk). it is however, worse now and un missable really. i'll report back if i get to the bottom of mine. up with the tunes for now!!
  6. hi jeff, been reading your thread. can i pick your brains a bit. firstly,i presume your bhp figure is at the flywheel? what turbo are you running?the ko4 wont give out such figures? mine 1.8t(aeb on ko4) is on upsolute chip, its a bit aggresive since i did the n75 for a j. very nice work. mines got a little too much power for front wheel drive though on boost.tourque steer can be a bitch. i'm on here chasing a nice corrado, your car has given me allsorts of ideas.expensive ideas though aint they.....
