what i dont get is the fitment underneath the power roar is more or less flush with the air box,but the small pipe that comes out is about an inch in front of the pipe thats under the roar so the fitment under the roar seems to be in the wrong place for an early one as it is flush with the airbox

nice easy one got a power roar of ab when i come to fit it the fitment underneath is about an inch to short to connect to the airbox pipe do early engines differ to later ones?

at least we seem to be getting somewhere so far its been to 3 garages they take it for a drive come back all get is feels fine to me :shock: think i am just going to replace the lot so at least its done c isn,t going nowwere

i also have a very simular problem with mine and guess what i cot my c off ebay also ,mine had new tyres new pads and discs . getting scary in the wet weather we are having , checked bearings all seems okay there,if you rest your foot on the clutch pedal can you feel it knocking slightly also when car stood still and you turn the wheel to the left get a cluncking noise don,t do it when turn to the left

had a nervous back end for a while on c it happens when you are turning to the right at higher speeds scars the s**t out of you the back end just wont,s to go when on roundabouts the back end does go but only when you turn right if you are turning left the c feels normal and safe does the c have the same rear bush problem as the mk2 golf had ?? sorry about the english its a dyslexic thing

been givern a price of £75 for a sunroof metal frame the lot is this the usual price or is it a bit steap?

HOW MY GOD :shock: :shock: THAT LOOKS AND SOUNDS A COMPLETE NIGHTMARE thanks with the posting looks like the duck tape is going to be staying on till the summer now had another look at it again this morning had fight with sunroof now got broken bits :blackeye:

just got a new sunroof switch for the c today tested it now the sunroof wont shut properly . the runner on the drivers side moves easily freemoveing the passengers side dont move it will tilt but wont shut correctly seems lob sided it dipps one side and the other side is above the roof good job we have the weather not to worry about it ....NOT help need realy quick fix till i can get to sort it out fully working

so the superchip icon is not worth bothering with then, much better with a racelogic one by the sounds of things

hi there fairly new to the c scene what i am wanting to know is ,is it worth fitting a super chip the guy i got the car off bought one a superchip icon off a mate but never got it fitted as any one had one fitted ? is it worth bothering with.

getting heat from the heaters well drivers side that is passengers side not as good replaced the feed hose the temp is pushing around 100 c when in traffic fan not kicked in yet so i am thinking the fan may being temprmentle it used to work

checked my injectors today put them back in one the last one the small seated bucket were the injectore is seated as gone an fell into the f******g engine can see it but can,t pull it back up if i were to take exaust off i am hoping this will give me enought clearence can get it with magnet am i right or wrong :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad: :shock:

the temp never gets no were near that so far it as just burst pipes once you start driving again temp drops

almost forgot the temp is around 80 on the gauge if this helps

problems only arise when the car is stood in traffic it just seems to make pipes leak the pipes were fine to look at ,then all of a sudden it makes pipes leak don,t leak from joints its from the pipeits self like two pin holes :scratch:

got a problem when stuck in traffic the c keeps springing leaks ,is this just a age of the hose problem so far i havereplaced 3 the fan is working i have had new radiator and thermo fitted

mave you are a star :salute: changed rotor arm car driving fine know, the other rotor arm had melted itself to the distibutor to the point were it as pulled some metal off were the groove is on the distibutor, the rev counter as developed a nervas twitch guess it want a turn up :D
