hi guys put some new headlight bulbs in tonite thinking that i had one needed replacing so replaced both the problem i have is if i put main beam on it just blows the fuse the passenger side works okay its just drivers side any ideas were to start :? this was the same before i changed the bulbs never noticed it blowing fuses

dont know to be honest i would go to a bodyshop they will tell best route to take plus costing then at least you can decide if its something you want to take on

you could get a replacement panel or sand the rust down and see the exstent then judge for your self how you want to go ,if was me i think i would replace the whole panel at least you have piece of mind as long as you get a good garage to put panel on properly and treated

any body got anymore knowledge on the mount buying this off jt as my front one is broken so figured better to buy this than a gsf one at twice the price

the et size is 20 on the back 35 on the front not worried about the front as they are standard size if i am right in thinking

forgot to say they are 7.5 on the fronts and 9 on the back any body got any pics of the c with the same wheel combo

think they were for a 1988 so should fit ,like the borbet a,s but g60 greeny got them on is plus its also red so need a bit of a diffrene look,dont want to seem like a mirror image driving down the road :lol:

seen some borbets on ebay for a bmw but also says will fit vw or vauxhall will they fit a corrado

i had a 2.5 v6 vectra gsi had the same problem turned out to be coilpack dont laugh i have seen the light now - alalooya :oops:

the other guy is at bawtry station road near butts if you know were that is . when i went to get bonnet had a look at the work he had done asked him about something just went off one so ,figured better to lose the bonnet than pay for a second rate job only to have it all redone again :cry:

went to get bonnet load of rubbish fell out with the sprayer

the heavy steering sounds like the power steering belt maybe a bit slack mine does the same more so in the rain really noticable by the way WELCOME TO THE FORUM

Looking for some advice i know quicky1980 as posted is problem with full respray problem mine is only the one panel . body shop had bonnet 3 week phoned to say finally ready to pick up saturday been to another body shop closer to were i live as i need some other parts spraying up the owner as got proper oven showed me his work spot on .asked were he worked before and that then he told me a story how a guy he used to work with was a s+++ sprayer opend is own body shop much to my horror its the same shop were my bonnet as been sprayed just worried the bonnet will be worse than when i took it in what rights if any if not happy?? :( sorry about the english guys its a dyslecsicx thing

getting some v6 front wings to put on my 16 valver would i still have have clearence problems ?

had mine replaced when first got c took to deutch mark in doncaster the guy replaced mine without taking front of the car apart not had any problems top guy very helpfull rung him many a time for advise when got stuck on jobs number is 01302 368 988 got me thinking now did he or didn,t he sure he would of said

problem now sorted well it,s working anyway don,tmean it,s the correct way wipers work when used by switch indicatorers now workthat will please the other drivers guessing were i am turning :lol:

can anybody help out with a picture of the fuse box two relays fallen out not sure were they go back in i have put back how i think they should but wipers stay on all the time the c in question is a 1.8 16 valver also the indicaters not working now

can anyone help with a step by step guide to fitting a bonnet cable fitted it but don,t think it is right were the cable is fitted to the handle there was a piece of metal with copper wire wrapped around it so i know thats busted before i start not sure what i need to replace there . when i pull the cable it seems to pull a long way before it opens the bonnet seem to be a lot of cable do you need all of it ? also when you pull cable it pulls it out of the clips on the wing sorry about the english is a dyslexic thing

I have the opposite effect screws start to turn give me hope they are going to un do then they go and break lol :lol:

just had a look at the pump some muppet as butched all three screws that hold the pump in the housing hurray :x looks like i,m going to have to get a new fuel pump housing changed filter a little over a mounth ago

sorry guys allways forget 1.8 valver not been to bad for starting last 2days the garage said it was running a bit lean so they adjusted it never can tell ,getting new seals on saturday so who knows :lol:

not that struck on either set tbh
