very nice fergal good luck with her.

not sure about prices in england but diesels are much harder to buy than petrol cars in NI so the fuel economy is offset by the higher purchase price. Over here diesel A4's go for a couple of grand more than the equivalent petrol. With your low miles you might get a higher fresher spec petrol.

First time i've read or heard about anything like this aswell. How much stiffer are the powerflex supposed to be? Hows your car handling with them on now? i notice you have koni shocks and h&R springs? i have koni shocks (top adjustable) too but need new springs was thinking of H&R how do you find the ride, recommend them? Cheers Dan

Hey Guys, recently got myself a vr6 fitted with koni top damping adjustable shock and eibach springs. now the springs were totally fooked the back was rubbing alll the time and the front springs had been heated or something as the bottom three coils were laying one on top of each other. is anyone running with these shocks? what springs are you using and which are best? I've standard springs on the front now with the koni struts and standard rear shocks and springs pity just wasting the koni's as they seam to be in good nick. any info be greatly appreciated. Cheers Dan

I had to replace this the other day, its on the front of the engine behind the radiator fans there should be a sort of cover over them and it'll be the one on the left of the three. Hope that helps

Well guys anyone had these symptons what were the problems, on the way home from work this evening my temperature went from 80 to 110 in a pretty quickly didn't gradually rise, had only travelled about 5 miles, stopped top hose into the radiator really hot and the bottom cold, whats the likely cause? Had to leave the car at petrol station just up the road from where i stopped by luck a fellow dbber stopped and offered me a lift home, even let me drive his mk4 1.8T anniversary some of the way was really impressed with it.

I just bought a VR6 on saturday I'm 21 aswell. Over the moon about it. Try Quinn Direct for insurance they quoted me £850 for third part fire and theft. I've one year no claims. Didn't think that was to bad for this sort of Car gonna shop around a bit more though.
-
Checked out Quinn Direct last night i've four years as a named driver online the quote i got was 1200 fully comp or 800 for third party fire and theft. think i'll go for third party. Viewing a VR6 on sat see how i get on. Its 130 000 miles though but owner supposed to have loads of history!
