Ok thanks, id rather try a second unit because i'm not 100% sure its my master cylinder and then id probably send my old one off to get refurbished if that solves the problem.

That is prob why i'm having such a hard time sourcing one then. Out of interest how much are they charging for a rebuild, PM me if you don't want it on here.

I'm after a VR6 brake master cylinder for a VR6 corrado. Its the type with one port underneath and a bleed nipple / reservoir up top.

I've tried getting one but everywhere seems to think its the later 4 port one but that doesn't mount.

The problem i have is with the hall sender. The 3 wires going into it have completely broken. As far as i was aware you cant buy this part on its own anymore.

Is this a distributor model if so how much for it complete if it wasn't damaged.

Im 15 mins from swansea and have vagcom and could scan it for you, only problem is i am away for a week or so. But if you haven't found anyone else by then give me a shout.

Its a J reg 1992

Mines a 1992 and has a red badge has done since new as far as im aware.

how much for the passenger side door and tailgate.

The guy kempy posted about for wheels did mine while back was very pleased

Hello, im having a problem splitting the outer CV joint. What ive got is a hub assembly (from a dif car) and what the person has done instead of removing the hub assmebly they have just cut the drive shaft. So what i have the assmebly itself with a tiny bit of driveshaft poking out.

I have tried heat, big hammers etc and just cant seem to budge it.

Anyone got a suggestion.

Sometimes when im using the brakes i push the pedal and there is nothing at all the pedal can literally hit the floor. If i release it and pump few times the pressure seems to build up again.This happens randomly by the looks of things as in one minute i have brakes and the next i dont. They sometime even go whilst braking. Today however there what a horrible buzzing kind of noise coming from the rear. Could this be related or any ideas on the problem. ps its a 1992 VR6

make sure they put it on the back, i told the wheel place not to put em on the front and they did anyway and looked ugly.
