Could someone tell me how to adjust the gearbox selector cables as i can't select 5th gear and there is a lot of play in the gearstick? At least i hope it is my selector cables and not my gearbox???

Its ok folks i managed to do it. Basically i had to take the seat out, strip it down and struggle like hell to put the little cable in the lever at the side of the seat but i got there in the end. Don't know if there is was easier way to do it as i did'nt have a manual?

Could anybody tell me how to fit a new cable inside the drivers seat? Its the one on the side where you lift the lever to allow the seat to fold forward so passengers can in the back. The car is a 1993 corrado vr6 and it has the heated leather seats. I have undone all the bottm at the rear so i can get my hand inside the seat but i can't visibly see the bracket. Any help would be much appreciated.

The problem with the heater mot working on differenet speeds will be the THERMAL FUSE inside the blower motor. Mine only worked on speeds 1 & 3 and then not at all so i changed the thermal fuse and it is as good as new. If you go down to your local maplin electronics store and ask for part no RA19V they are £0.71 each.

Has anybody got a picture of the standard corrado VR6 wheels? I have speedlines fitted and i thought they were genuine but a friend told me they are'nt so i thought i would ask you folks?

Just wondering if any of you folks have the k&n kit on your corrado vr6? As i am thinking of buying on myself and wondering how they sound on the 2.9 engine and does it make any difference to performance?

I thought the vr6 changed gears via cables and not selector rods? ( That was what i was told anyway ) I will have a look later to see whats what. Only got the car yesterday.

I'm having problems selecting 5th gear? Does'nt always go in ( hardly ever and sometimes crunches ) and there is a lot of play in the gearstick so any help on the matter would be helpful?
