Cheers Churchy Really pi**ed about it tbh as the rest of the car is mint but i know it had a windscreen before i bought it. It is a genuine vw screen but badly fitted a big gap in the bonding on the pass side a piller has let the water sit behind the trim and the paint must have been marked by the cutting tool thus starting to rot i am getting it fixed but just wanted to know of anyone else who has suffered the same Cheers

Hi you will need 6mm spacers and m12 x 40 x 10.8 metric bolts contact : E C Pitcher 01922 622523 he will sort you with bolts mate.

Hi all has anyone had bad rust around the windscreen ?? due to windscreen replacement ? i have just taken my windscreen out and low and behold discovered rot !!! has anyone suffered this and what action was taken cheers

Hi all i know most people prob have already performed this mod but !!!! I had under taken the TT 312mm brake upgrade to find the high tensile "M12 x 1.5 x 40" bolts with a rating of at least 10.9 are like hens teeth but after many phone calls i finally got some and incase anyone is looking to do this mod get in touch with Simon at : E C Pitcher 01922 622523 A really helpful guy nothing is a problem sorted me with cap head bolts with a rating of 12.9 Cheers

Torsten i am running a set of 301s on my ice grey violet rado and will soon be running a set of rs 001s on my mk2 i also have a set of 8" d90s and a set of 7" d90s for winter use would that make me a wheel whore ???? pics to follow

Welcome michael wish i could of had a rado when i was 18 looks nice and white is not always to everyones taste but i had a white mk2 gti along with a black one a grey one a capri green one etc and always loved the white gti the most good luck to you maybe see you around there are a couple of guys around carrick with rados on this forum
