i have a corrado that has been bought as a little project its not on the road yet so am regularly going out and starting it up, the heater works fine but it has stopped blowing out of the windscreen, and is blowing all under the dash, i had it all out today (what a bugger) and where i think is the matrix joins onto the like channels it seems to have come apart but no explanation why because the car has hardly been used and was working before, can any one shed any light please, i also noticed that under the matrix in the floor is a vent which looks like it should have something over it but what,this could explain the excess condensation in the car.

did the elctric window today what a ba****d of a job it better not go again or i may be tempted to scrap it. ha ha

im debating whether to even just scrap the bugger cos i went to change the fan belt what on any other is a 2 second job on the rado i quickly put the bonnet down and forgot it

i didnt really notice but i let it run the other day and it did go up.

that is another thing i only bought the car about the month ago when i went to get it i was talking to the matey for about 20 mins and i dont know if the fan even kicked in but it wasnt overheating still

does anyone know how much a head gasket change at the garage would be.just looked under the oil cap and there is a bit of white, no overheating, misfire or oil in the water is this definately head gasket please. thank you

thanks, its definately not black and its not bluey either, as i put my foot down it gets worse to a certain point where im touching the floor and it seems to clear

it doesnt smoke when first started only when it heats up a bit it is white smoke and when started it smells a bit like oil then more like petrol. cheers

excessive smoking I have just bought a vw corrado 1.8 16v and it seems to be smoking quite a bit does anyone know the cause or had a problem like this at all. would be grateful for some help.
