hey guys, ive been lookin into fitting some cup holdin tray too, went to th scrapy and picked up two examples one from a rover but the best is from a mitsubishi lancer! it wil fit like a dream. I may try to move the ash tray down and have it above it. Its about 2cm deep! i'l upload a pic from my phone later if anyone is interested or check ebay for lancer cup holder cos there is one on there for £15 at the mo.. i paid £5 for two and a polo heater control unit! :)

G60Jet, i bet ur right, tis the same with my C. Basically if i whip the key out fast the stereo stays on, i have to put the key back in and take it out slowly to turn it off. Now i take the keys out gently there is never a problem. One day i might giv it a tiny squirt of WD40!

Hey, im very please to say i did get a VR6 afteral, it was heardys 1993 met black/grey one which was advertised on here! I litterally started a new job the next day so hav'nt found time to post back on here. Im settling in now tho and luvin the drive, tis a wikid little beast! I'll post some pics at the weeknd when hopefully it will get its weekly wash (missed last weeknd lol) My only plans are to fit a badgless grill and brow spoiler, afterall im struggling to pick a fault with it. The inside is a little different, the fan switch has already died (copper contact bent beyond recognition), knob was split and worn (now replaced) the dash lights are poor and the abs light in the gear stick surround. Im tempted to lengthen the wire and fit that where the blank is in the dashboard. This all means im sayin goodbye to my project mantas! I might even post a few pic of them if anyone is interested lol one thing i dont understand 88 manta... like a sieve, tin worm has been dinin out for years VS 93 corrado... totally rust free! 8)

ive had my C on a few weeks and im pleased to say ive already started to have a little fun with it. I noticed a thread on here about glowing gear knobs so after a little ebayin a found a similar but much cheaper version and bought it! 4 weeks later, finally got round to fitting it, stupidly it came with a cigarette light socket adaptop (how unbelievably stupid) so i had to perform some serious mods to it. Firstly the trasformed inside the knob had to be removed and re-wired so it can be hidden behing the dash and the horrible high pitched wine will be hidder and secondly it had to be wired into the lighting circuit so it only came on with the lights. Et voila! not too shabby for a tenna and def not Chavvy IMO :lol: ooh and btw im planning on changin the grain of wheat bulbs for the led types, what size are the twist lock fitment type i will need?

I wanna get me a VR6 with black leather, maybe already lowered and tweeked but i want enough to impose my personality on it! Ideally dragon grenn or metailic black tho the purple does look good! Can i just say Hi! Great site here, ive been trying to read through as much of it as pos. Im currently thinking about buyin a corrado as im finally reluctantly decided to sell both my opel mantas. Purely becuase theyve both been off the road for 3 years now and im loosing the battle to find time to work on them! One is completely stripped down to the shell if anyone is interested ;) Buying mantas has been a bad experience for me as the sellers lied to me about the condition both times and i wasnt careful enought when i checked over them, so is there any really good buyin advice? For instance what specifically to look out for? other than the obvious i mean. this could proove really useful. also is there any point in me holding out and tryin to find a low mileage one? im tempted to take the risk on a high milegae but carefully maintained one as they seem a bit cheaper. Finally, any recommendations for a place to look for insurance? the cheapest so far on a VR6 is £1300 and im 27 by the way! shocking! anyhoo, hopefully i'll be on here a bit more often and driving again soon! If anyone knows of a VR6 for sale lemmie know, im based in yorkshire! Cheers
