i've bought the above isv re -route kit , it came from a forum member but has no instructions , has anyone fitted one , could they tell me how . already fitted a 3.5 bar fuel reg and have bbm stage 3 ecu ready to fit also .

just had a full de-cat system from pipe-werx , it is a 2.5" system , absolute top job sounds awesome would recomend them , could feel the difference as soon as i drove it , seemed to release a lot of power from a standard g60 , and a nice rumble at idle & a howl under acceleration that can only make you smile ! :D

i'm on my second , 1st was a valver g plate spent a fortune on it , had various other cars , vr6 golf , golf gti , rs fords , i've been bitten by the corrado bug again 3 years later but now its my second car , but saying that i've been using the g60 this week for work done over 300 miles ,longest its spent on the road in six months and she's not missed a beat but more importantly i find myself smiling alot more than when driving my boring vectra to work and back . even though the wipers are crap , there is no air-con and i have to put fuel in myself ! my missus agree's with mr biege on one point , shes always saying i'm mad, especially when i'm breaking the news about spending over £400 on a custom exhaust with de-cat next week . :lol: -
i'm looking at getting a polished rocker , but they look different to the one on my g60 :? , the oil cap is flush with top of rocker , all the polished ones seem to have a oil fill cap that sticks up from top of rocker . will these still fit wouldnt wana buy it n it not be ok ? thanks for quick reply . :) Gaz .

hello people ! had a leak slight leak for a few weeks now , which only seemed to leave a patch on floor when engine hadn't been started for a few days ,looking like lots of oil but hardly affecting oil level on dipstick i feared it may be a crank seal next to pulleys because of were the oil was falling ,but i've been under the car torch in hand and took timing cover off to get a bit of light from above and it looks like the oil is running down from the rocker cover gasket . as you look at the rocker cover from above its on the oil cap side at the back . it is something i will tackle myself so what parts will i need , i think just a rocker gasket ? do i have to remove the throttle body and the isv or will they just move when rocker bolts are undone ? anyone got a spare rocker cover for sale ? mine is been painted and looks manky . thanks for reading , regards Gaz .

i had a golf vr6 that was loosing water when i bought it , it was loosing water from the electric water pump to the top right of the engine{the one which turns on after the car is turned off) , can't remember what its called :oops: apparently a common fault on vr6's i was told . it was a pain to fit had to take leads and engine cover off to get at it , so you may not see it from just lookin under bonnet . may beway off but its one to get someone to check .

had same problem with my old c 16v , ended up doing the stat and i replaced the rad coz it was the original one , worked a treat and ended up not having to do heater matrix :) which i was told by a m echanic was the fault .

i'm in wigan lancashire , g-werks looks to be the best on here i was expecting over £500 pound so quite chuffed with that did £300 inc porting n that :oops: , glad its ok for the moment tho ,

ran the mfa test on my g60 on saturday , got a read out of 1690 . its is bog standard , looked at the fuel filter and it looks like the original vw one from factory , so going to swap that this weekend , anything else to improve read out / performance or is the read out ok for standard charger ? funds are tight so going to save up to get charger ported and rebuilt at same time , any ideas of cost , i take it not good to send to jabba from previous threads ? god i've waffled on :oops: thanks for reading .

is the nut on the top 21 mm ?? :? about to do mine this weekend , in middle of fitting lowering kit to my g60 , rear in bits all over garage :!: at mo waiting for handbrake cable to come so i can do it now coz i know it'l fail mot on one side :roll: , any tips for fitting cable , hoping its easy due to axle being down ?

i'm wondering whether anyone does a early style 7 slat debadged grill ? i'm sure i've seen them before :? any one else seen one or is it me dreaming about corrado's again ?

it sounds very much like an engine mount , best to get a mechanic to make sure tho , very common , mine has just been done about 300 mile ago .

has any-one used the jamex height adjustable kit on there corrado , it looks a well built bit of kit , finished in stainless and i was under the impression jamex was a good make :?: i'm in the market for a kit at the mo and seen this kit , think it was volksworld can't be 100% tho looked at so many different ones . :lol:

i have just purchased a corrado g60 , after previously owning a corrado 16v a few years back with alot higher milage , but the gearchange on the g60 is s*** , indicisive , sloppy , struggle to select to correct gear . is it an easy fix ? any one offer advise ? sorry if this subject has come up previous , new to the site !
