Hey Tom, Ive read this whole thread twice and id like to complement you on a fantastic build, ive done a tdi corrado myself about 8 years ago with a 110 bhp asv engine from a seat ibiza so ive a good idea of all the work involved. After reading a few threads on the tdi forum and then comming accross your build im itching to take on another one with the more factory like b4 passat as a donor. How is your one going for you? did you remap yet? heres a wee picture of mine

Nice work Dave, did you change the Lambda sensor on her yet? ive just done it on my 8v and it runs far better now, its sharper and idles smoother when hot without the back firing

Has the resonated 1 got an extra box, mine is on about 8 weeks and its a bit noiser then i was hoping for ( must be non resonated ) wonder if you can add an extra box to the non resonated one to make it resonated :scratch:

Mine sticks out a bit too much too, must adjust it back some time

I didn't put the stat in to water as it's is a new genuine one, it definately should be regestering temperature b4 it is doing, it's an unusual one :(
