  1. LOL! I know sorry guys..... No i'm not selling it and yes i have just bought it.... Would just like to know what the market value of a mint G60 is as to whether i paid good money for it. On another note: What noise would i hear if my supercharger belt(s) was slipping???? My readings through the MFA are 1400 at full throttle which i was told is not good but i have a stage 4 with FMIC! I don't really want to get the charger rebuilt and find out it didn't need to and it was perfectly healthy!! Alex

  3. Hey guys, I can't get the bolts off that hold the boost recirc pipe in place to the charger!!! They are the 2 bolts holding on the plastic pipe..... Because they are allon key(spelling!) heads on the bolts, they are so tightly suck on that i am afraid of destroying the head of the bolt. The harder i try and undo them the more the allon key wants to round off the edges and fluck the bolt all together! Tried penetrating fluid but it isn't working. What do i do??? Alex

I have had 2 turbo cars and the main benefit from the dump valve is you are releasing recirculated dirty air from the system instead of passing it back through........There is the woooooooosh noise to go with which i actually happen to like..... surely the supercharger would benefit from fresh cold air rather than being fed hot dirty air back into the pipework?????!! Would it not also stop oil being dragged though the recirc and throuhg onto your air filter element in the airbox????? I thought recirc pipes on supercharged cars can nacker the air filter due to oil smothering the element?? I may be wrong. They are far more beneficial than just creating noise!! Alex
  6. If you remove the boost return pipe do you just need to bung the hole with something or what???? Is there an actual dump valve unit you can buy to attach somewhere?? Alex
  7. Does anyone know if you can remove the boost recirc pipe and whether it is a good idea???? Does it help for the boost to vent to atmosphere instead of being recirculated? Are there dump valves you can buy for the G60?? If so where might i be able to get my hands on one!! :) Any help would be great Thanks Alex
  8. I have a miltek at the moment and IMO it sounds like a sack o spanners!!!!! Not loud enough fo me!! Make no mistake....I am not a chav but i love a loud and crisp exhaust note! The miltek is too quiet and sounds tinny. Also the tailpipe is not to my liking.
  9. Longlife have built a system for me before on previous cars and i have been very happy with them! The only issue here is that powerflow and longlife use the same grade stainless stell don't they???! I already have an aftermarket manifold with decat section so am just looking for cat back. Alex
  10. I asked these guys to build me a custom exhaust sytem as they did one for my MR2 a while back...... To which their reply was we don't hold a mold and would need the car for a week to prototype one!! Fair enough....... But then they asked if it was the supercharged G60! They then responded with a firm NO! Saying the heat from the supercharger destroys the exhaust so therefore they would not make a system knowing it would be faulty??????? Is this true?? What do other exhaust fabricators do then??? Alex

  12. any ideas as to how i remove the plastic funel insert in the standard air box?? It won't budge!!! :x Also.......... What pipes need to be blocked off or joined after taking out the carbon canister??? Thanks Alex

  14. Would like to know what the maximum horsepower output is on the corrado G60 with stage 4 on the charger and the stock 8v lump??? So including... Manifold Exhaust Head work Induction FMIC........etc etc Basically i would like to know what figures i can predict for the G60 with all mods done except 16v conversion and an uprated charger. Any feedback much appreciated 8) Alex
  15. I'm not lookin for a supercharger rebuild because this was done along with stage 4 20,000 miles ago......... Just want the supercharger looked over to make sure it is running the correct boost pressure and all is running smoothly. Cambelt i do want changed though.
  16. Hey guys! I am looking to have my supercharger serviced to check all is ok with her! Also gonna book in for cambelt as there is no evidence it has ever had one and the car has been though 105000 miles :shock: What prices am i looking at for these jobs to be completed??? Is there any dropping of the engine malarchy to change the cambelt?? Alex

  18. Yea i know lol! I used the redhill branch for my old saxo and they were terrible but used another branch for my first MR2 and they were great!! I have just heard so many stories of people saying most aftermarket systems are no good for the corrado, they either sound crappy or knock and rattle themselves silly! The only attraction of going for longlife exhausts is that they are custom and the spectrum of choice is excellent.......also the fit is perfect! Alex
  19. Is this true?????? When Dave(m3evo sold it to me he did say that the exhaust was a decat milltek system but i have read in write ups that the exhaust is manifold back as apposed to cat back??? Are these systems actually any good for the corrado G60? Mine sounds like a sack o spanners lol! :? Anyone used powerflow or longlife for their G60 exhaust? Good or bad....... Alex
  20. You say lucky but i have already had an MR2 Turbo and a Skyline running 320BHP lol! The charger has had stage 4 done to it 20 000 miles ago so i would have thought it is fine??! But i guess i should get it checked! Any ideas for BHP?? So the RSR outlet is the pipe coming off the charger to the airbox???? Are the uprated ones any good?? Alex

  22. Well........ After wondering if my supercharger was up the shoot i think it is safe to say all is running smooth...... I did a test for boost leak and all was fine :) and the supercharger seems to be fine and all that rotates looks in working healthy order. The supercharger only had a stage 4 build 20 000 miles ago so i'm fairly confident it is fine. Not to sound like a chav but i also did a 0-60 time which came in at 8 secs or a bit less. With a problem supercharger would this have been a lot slower???? So with my current setup i was hoping for some feedback on what BHP figures i could expect..... K&N panel filter Full decat Miltek exhaust FMIC Oil cooler Stage 4 on Supercharger Stock bhp is 160ish i think! What do you guys reckon the car is putting out??? I will have it dyno'd hopefully soon! PS - What is an RSR Outlet???? Alex
