Well 1400 on the above chart equates to a very poorly supercharger! I thought something was up as you can't hear the charger at all throughout the rev range!! Alex

Any ideas?? The car also has a decat Miltek exhaust system and a k&n panel filter?? Someone tell me what stage 4 is!! lol!

Just a tad lol! Before that i had an MR2 Turbo! Have just done the above test and the car was showing 250 at idle!!!! But then i prodded the throttle and it raised to 450-480???????? Driving along when i lifted my foot off the accelerator it dropped to 250......but upon full chatt up to redline in 3rd and 4th it made 1360-1400!!!!!! Does this sound right???? I have stage 4 on the charger but have no frikin clue what that means lol! Alex

Well there is a big fat lump in the bottom left of the engine bay that looks like a supercharger lol! I'm worried if its not!!!!!!! The car has all G60 paperwork and logos so i'm sure it is. But to me it just sounds like an NA engine!! Strange....... Alex

Having gone from a Nissan Skyline R32 GTS-T with 320BHP at the rears........ I have bought a G60....... I know the car is a lot slower and expected that of a 1.8litre 8v engine but i thought i would hear the supercharger whining????? Sounds like the car is just a regular 8v 1.8 but because i have been used to silly turbocharged power i don't know if the supercharger is boosting correctly if at all???? :shock: Alex

I will be moving the horns and black meshing the gap to tidy it a little for sure!!! Where is the best place to refit the horns?? Do my temps sound ok or should i get it checked out?? Alex

Hey peeps! 8) I know by now that the gauges on the G60 Corrado are a little less than helpfull! So i was using my MFA computer thingy to check some of the figures i was running....... I have a rallye intercooler installed too. For running temp i was on about 98-100 degrees centigrade but when pulling up in traffic and sitting still at idle for a while it would rise to as much as 108!!!!!!!! So....... I took off the front grill which is stupidly useless for aiding air flow!!! and ran the car on a half hour journey.......... Running temps were between 92-96 and at idle hit 100........ I cant believe how the front grill restricts air flow so much to the point of a 7 degree difference in engine heat!!!!!! Do my running temps sound worrying or odd??? I know its a supercharged car and therefore may run hotter but i havent a scooby doo what to go by????! Alex

Go to somewhere like Longlife custom exhausts and they can sort ya out with anything!! As far as running difference..... A naturally aspirated car needs a certain level of back pressure in the exhaust system to maintain healthy power output...... By putting in smaller silencers or taking them out all together you are creating a free flowing system.....Brilliant if you have a turbocharged car but the lack of back pressure may damage the performance of your NA Corrado :shock: :( I have had 2 custom systems made for my previous NA MR2's and the silencers were tiny!!! I ended up losing 8BHP!!!!!!! Just from a lack of back pressure! HTH Alex

A big thank you must go out to m3evo for selling me his minter of a G60!!!!! Been looking fior a corrado for a few months now and this was a "must have!" as soon as i saw it advertised!!!!! Apart from the 300 mile drive to collect it and the 300 mile journey back there were no probs at all 8) Cheers for all the help Dave and i will keep everyone posted on the progression of her :D Alex

Cheers for the info buddy! The one i am buying is a 1992 G60 import......... Not sure of the arch differences but just wondered what size aftermarket wheels people usually go for! Thanks again for the help :)

I'm sure the arches on all corrados are the same but i was wondering what size wheel looks best on the corrado G60 and performs best too????? As well as size....15, 16, 17.....etc What widths are appropriate to fill the arches??? Many thanks Alex 8)
