G60_91

The cat is rattling quite bad on my G60 so im guessing its about blown to peices. Ive got 11 months MOT left on it so wouldnt mind getting a little bit more power out of the car until i need to replace it and get it tested again. Looking to get a decat pipe from somewhere. Can anyone recommend anywhere for a good price?

I thought i was deff. going to be pulled over last week when i was on a completely clear stretch of the M69. I was going 3 figures but 2 very nice policeman in a feckin quick volvo caught up with me, gave me a nod and just went past me probably doin in excess of ton 30!!! Every encounter ive had with the police has been spot on. Like you say if you treat em like human beings then they are most accommodating. There's a stunning blonde lady policewoman who walks the beat in Derby... I always try n catch her eye lol. I might buy some neons and drive past her reapitidly :-)

I got my C just after chrimbo and was wondering if all of them came with the spoiler switch? Mine works fine but only have it working automatically at 45mph up and about 15mph down. Its a 91 G60 with early spec interior, should it have the spoiler switch on the dash? there are a couple of the switch blanks that have been used for stuff like the immob so i dont know if its been removed at some point or if it was ever on the car in the first place. any info would be great cheers sam

i agree, when its clean it looks the dogs blx. It almost looks like metallic black over metallic red. I LOVE my Rado!!!

Ive had mine 2 months now, averaging about 20mpg so wearing 2 nice foot holes next to my favourite petrol pump. The car is fantastic tho, i wouldnt have had it but my bro bought her and was going to break her for the engine/charger to go in his Caddy.... a nice idea but the car is toooo good to break so i saved it from being ebayed in peices :-) Bojmobile, Dark burgundy pearl...have you seen many other around? I havent seen 1 yet. sam

Hi Jon_R i agree with herisites, de-wiper the back cos it looks loads better. Ive done mine and it really doesnt make any difference to visibility etc. as it clears in no time at all when you get going. I too must get some pics up soon... ive only had mine 2 months and i dont think i will be buying any other car apart from a rado again. Like you say, you get out smiling everyday and everyone loves em! :-) Sam

ouch. I had a taxi do the same to me in my old astra (im sure youre all smiling) and it sent me into a load of parked cars on other side of the road! 5 write-offs in one go :-( If youve got a 68mm pulley or toothed kit etc. for a G60 would deff. be interested. I need more boost.....and petrol

If only Id have known!! Im a newbie please forgive me :-) I must admit the instructions and postage time off ebay were terrible and ive still not managed to get the old shim pins out.

My 1991 G60's done 127k and still runs sweet. Ive had a few probs in the last months with the door handle striker arms going, but theyre easy enough to fix with new ones off ebay. The old pins are a swine to drill/bore out though. My subframe was rusted through and after some heavy winds i ran over a bit of tree quite quickly and it snapped the bolts and then sheared off the mounting on the n/s, that knocked the drive shaft outa place, lost all the g/box oil and left the whole wheel assembly/suspension hanging loose and crushed against the rear of the wheel arch :-( Had to have new subframe, drive shaft, gaitor, clips, anti-roll bar not to mention getting it shifted onto a low loader so my nice 90mm splitter is now trashed where he dragged it on. More my bad luck i think though than a major problem with the rado. In the same weekend, my bro's 2.0 16v gave up on the dual carriageway cos of the seal on the dizzy breaking up and oil seeping in. no more probs so far..... but theres always the drive home!!!

This is my first post :-) well, i think mine is Dark / Black Violet G60. My bro has a blue 16v so i'll let him know how common his motor is lol. My pics will be up soon so if anyone can confirm the actual colour wud be much appreciated!
