  1. I've only seen 102 and i did give it a bit last night today i've just done a 25 mile round trip normal driving and the highest i've seen is 96 so i've worried for nowt. Think i'l get a mocal cooler tho as im going to get the charger ported in the very near future and slap a cam in
  2. Me again being a noob as usual. Just wanted to know what sort of running temps i should be getting i've got a g60 just had coolant and head gasket. Im was running 65 mm pulley unkown chip k&n temps were about 80 water and 96 oil. Today i've put a bbm stage 3 chip and check valve on the car oil now gets to 102 and water about 90. Nowt to woory about or drop the valve and chip? or does the dizy timing need altering? Also fitting the red-tops tomorrow will that make any difference?

Going to fit this this afternoon I've just been looking at the standard set-up and it has the feed to the fpr a feed to the rail next to it and then a pipe coming off the other end and going to a sensor. As you can see the bbm rail only has 2 pipes do i need anything else to fit or do i blank off disconnect a pipe/sensor Going to be fitted with a bbm stage 3 chip and red-tops
  5. p lease ingore that request they are the right one's just done an etka check on them Still best way to clean them up would be a help :)
  6. Ok i've bought a set of vr6 injectors and im going to put 4 on my g60 they've clean-up and look ok. Been told they are the same red tops as needed for the g60 but these look a bit more brown. The part number is 021906031a on one side and 0280150953 on th other just want to check these are the right ones as i intend to fit the fuel rail and these today. Cheers

    Which fpr?

    Hi. Quick question not a problem just abit of advice which will hopfully help others as well. Which fpr im after a 3.5 to go with a bbm stage 3 chip and 65mm pulley and red tops i've seen a lot on ebay which say universal etc..etc.. and wonder wether they are worth it ? Also are the ones with the gauges any good are they accurate as i don't fancey wasting my pistons due to a crappy gauge Cheers John

  9. Your telling me it was scary and like i said if it was'nt for the pipe coming off (no cable tie on it!!!!) I would'nt have known, God work's in mysterious ways heh either that or i have the luck of the devil Still goning to look into putting steel braided all round now this week

It was just the vacum pipe from the throttle body to the ecu with mine sorted now The petrol leak was the nasty one especially after spending £760 on having the head replaced Check your pipe if you hav'nt done so for leaks it's shocked me how much difference that bit of pipe makes got to be a 100cm in length tho

Morning chaps :D :D Check'ed the 100cm pipe this morning as i can see better now i've got some light it had come away from the TB. so put it back and purring nicley hav'nt been out for a run yet but no backfire on tickover and responds 100% better. But................. Noticed a bit of steam/ smoke coming from the left hand side just under the fuel rail on closer inspection it appears it's petrol leaking :shocked!: Going to check all the clips on the fuel pipes and the pipes themselves now (this isn't a plea for advice as i know what's happening) Just like to say a big :thumbleft: THANK YOU :thumb right: to you guy's not only have you solved my problem but if i'd have left it and wait'd till tomorrow and just used the car steady as i have a bit of running around to do today you have probrably saved me from going up in :onfire: Funny how it happened tho otherwise i'd have been none the wiser about the petrol Thanks again for the good advise i owe you all several large drink's
  12. With regards to the slippage i've been out with a torch and the belt does look off center would slippage cause this and the rich running?

Quick update it won't run on the standard chip but it's been lying around so maybe fubar But just put the other in and started the car, started fine but then tried applying full throttle quick from under the bonnet and it backfires and wont rev innstantly Can't check the pipe from the tb till morning but do you reckon the maps f**k'd on the chip?
  14. Hi charger was done 3.5k just standard but was als running fine and has the smaller belt this is all tight and spins with the engine running and no strange noises also does'nt bog down when just reving in neutral
