but on a serious note, how do i ajust the delay front intermittent wipe, i could have done with that today!
-
the seats.....are......ajustable???? please tell how, im fed up with driving around with bits of wood tied to the bottom of my shoes like that taxi driver kid in indiana jones!
-
so basically just start yanking the handle in all directions whilst screaming like a madman tends to work yeah? ill try that later with my windows down at some traffic lights lol
-
this is probably a stupid question, but how the hell do you turn the rear wiper off? getting really annoyed with wanting to clear the mist off the rear screen in the morning and then having to listen to that dirty noise of the wiper squeeking its way across the then dry glass, makes my hair stand on end!

saw a green g60, slammed on bbs, outside wickes in t wells on monday?

blue one is the replacement, nothing wrong with the black one just not a massive fan of the matt blackness, it was just the only corrado i could afford at the time, cant afford to run both, way too expensive, was a good game, but if we can only just beat slovenia or wteva, whats going to happen when we go up against the 'big' teams, we need to sort it out n dat
-
thought id stick a few pics up of the new car, along with my other one, as i just cleaned the blue one not very well unfortunately, due to the fact i have gotten too used to cleaning a matt black car! not used to shiny and using polish and stuff!

i am a kent boy but im more than up for this, will need to get this heating issue sorted first though!!
-
thanks very much for all the help and advice guys! i went for the car in the end, seems pretty tidy for the price, seems like the stage one on the fan isnt working so i will look into that, also on the way back it was sitting at 90 degrees the whole way on the motorway, even dropping right down to 70 at some points? i will definately have to get some pics of what im doing with it on here when i get a bit of spare time and start working on it and really need to get involved in some of the meets you guys have aswell!
-
unfortunately the car is all the way around the other side of the m25 by potters bar so its a bit of a trek, yeah the fan was working when we got back from the test drive and it didnt get any hotter than 110 it just sat there at that temperature, having said that there was no traffic either so the engine was being cooled from movement anyway
-
thanks very much for both your offers! i might have to take one of you up on your offer, i have owned 2 corrados now, but they were both 1.8s i dont really know too much what to look out for on the vr6s, i found a really good thread on a canadian corrado forum for the heater matrix, looks like it would take a day or 2, i dont have vag-com is it something i can download and do i need a special connector to plug it into the car? thanks your both your help! its most appreciated!
-
right, ive finally saved up enough to buy a vr6, i went and looked at one yesterday and am strongly thinking about buying, only thing is, the heater matrix has been bypassed, not a massive issue as i can replace this myself, only thing im quite concerned about is the fact it sits quite hot,the water is between 100-110 degrees im sure this is not normal, but is this a by product of the heater matrix being bypassed or the possibility of something more sinister? i checked for obvious signs of head gasket failure and cant see any and the car does seem like it has been quite well looked after, any advice would be greatly appreciated as i know you guys know what you are talking about and advice will be taken on board

thats not the guy in essex is it? i think there is a fine line between too much carbon fibre and the right amount, im making it my personal mission to make it so there is next to no plastic on show in the whole car, using tastefull (imo) materials like flocking and alcantara and thought di-noc might be a good idea for the dash insert (i mean the plastic around the stereo, centre pocket, top heater vents, dial cluster ect)
-
ohhh dear im going to end up spending a fortune on petrol!! do you have any tips on things to look out for when i go look at the car, common faults ect, i already know about usual faults, like door handles spoler, sunroof, heater matrix ect!
-
ok, thats not so bad i guess, and im assuming thats driving it carefully? mind you i bet its worth it for the sound of the engine!!
-
rite, gona sell the matt black 16v and make the plunge and get a vr6, was just wondering if anyone had any advice as to what to look for as i can only afford to spend about £2000 so its going to be a high milage unfortunately, looking at the blackberry one on pistonheads at the moment, looks pretty mint! and also was going to ask what there like on fuel, im assuming about £5 pound will get me about 25 miles? thanks in advance for any help!!!
-
seems like the latest thing to do is use this 3m carbon vinyl wrap stuff, just wondering what you guys make of it, or if u have used it before, if so, pictures? looks really easy to use and was considering doing my dash inserts with it, but looks like a bit of a challenging job!
-
thanks alot, ill sort it for him tomorrow, hopefully he wont be too frostbitten from driving around with the windows open to stop the screen steaming up! lol
-
this might be a stupid question, but is the heater matrix out of the phase 2 corrado the same as the one in the mk3 golf? my friend has the golf and his heater matrix has packed up and i know this is a common fault on the corrado and is well covered on here. thanks in advance for any help!

i feel sorry for first time drivers, they pay a ridiculous amount of money! im quite happy though because i have finally started getting reasonable insurance prices!
-
well my quote was 510, same for a vr6 and 1.8 16v and about 700 for a 2.0 ltr,and 894 for a g60? im 21, dont think thats such a bad price for a 2.9 v6 tbh! only thing that would be stopping me getting one of those is money though, they seem to fetch more than 1.8 16v do
-
would be nice, depends on how much i can get for my current car, but will end up being a 1.8 16v, unless i get lucky!
