  1. 74,342 :-) First time I looked at mileage in about 3 months then see this post in same day!!!
  2. Must get the MK1 there this year...
  3. Has anyone ordered from them before or know if someone else can supply these: Intermediate Shaft Pulley:
  4. I think mine is just a belt noise tbh as its at stand still too...
  5. Mine does the same - Sounds like ive got a charger fitted :-)
  6. Man I really need to get to grips with this search! Couldn't find that at all... I'm sure its not a wheel bearing as the steering is effected alot. There is no knocking or clicking when I turn though, it only gets louder the faster I go. I'm thinking its the early signs of an inner CV... I think... Will check ball joints too as I didnt bother to check when I looked at the bearings! Thanks everyone
  7. I have a noise on my VR6 which I think must be a CV joint. It kinda sounds like a wheel bearing has gone but I have checked and they are all solid. I therefore think it must be a CV as the steering can get heavy and it just doesnt drive like it used to! My question is; How do I know which CV joint it is before I buy an outer or inner and replace on the wrong side? Thanks in advance! 8)
  8. My Bro works for Head Office too: Wish I had gone to look now...
  9. My VR is my second car! :D BUT I love it sooooo much now I want a shed of a motor so I can tuck the C up too!!!
  10. Magnecor everytime...
  11. Yeah think i'm gona extend the loom too, shouldn't be too hard but want to fit some decent wiring in there! The grounding point on the chassis is probably going to be the hardest part...
  12. "Bobby" Yeah they are really good, got one in my MK1 and just charge it before I wana use it and its as good as new!!! One more time; Heeeeeeeeelp!!!
  13. Too late guys, already got it!!! Help!!!!!!!
  14. Has anyone fitted an Exide into their VR6? The posts are at the wrong end, can these be moved as there are holes at the 'right' end! Otherwise I will need to extend the wiring loom to fit. Has anyone done this? Cheers
  15. Anyone else fitted their kit yet? any more suggestions/pics?
