to be honest either should sound ok i had jbls in a stealth shelf a couple of years back and they sounded ok, same company as harmon kardon i believe. as long as they are in phase all should be fine have you tried them with an amp though as your head unit could be clipping and coughing if you are trying to squeeze the juice out of it.!

the iso connector in the car loom should go inside the iso connector of the radio so to make the loom connection (cold). if you can see flat brass pins on the inside of the loom conector then its (hot) and its the opposite of the plug that you should have there. i wouldnt have thought they make a wiring harnass for the radio with cold connections on so i would think its defo the loom end thats wrong.....?

spot on with that comment imho! Welcome to CF rado76. Expect to be smiling for a long time to come - I've had my blackberry vr for nearly 2 years now and I'm still like the bloody Cheshire Cat every time I just look out the window at mine, let alone drive him. Sometimes I wonder if I've gone just a bit too far with this..... :cuckoo:  is yours a he? mines a she!.... maybe we can breed them and get one on an 07 plate!lol

because your head unit is drawing more current when the volume increases, so everytime there is a alot of bass it causes a voltage drop in the loom you get this alot more when running amps etc as they draw even more current, then a power cap solves your probs  -
...............and that pic definatly doesnt do it any justice lol

to be honest i cant fault the lexus i had i just got bored of it and missed the vw scene, the only thing thing that cheesed me off about it was its fuel economy it drank it like there was no tommorrow and i didnt get the performance to match, at least the rado justifies its thirstyness and i think i get more mpg out of it than the lex?!? work that one out..... 2l vs 2.9L??? although the lex was auto. its still for sale if you want it for your missus... wink wink wizard!!!
