I have a 94 L reg VR6 and am curious to know whether some of the body parts are interchangeable? For example, is the bonnet, front bumper, rear bumper and front wings the same for the whole corrado range. So will a bonnet/bumpers/front wings from a 2.0 16v fit onto a VR6? cheers

-
hehe.....am well happy that its sorted now!! thanks again for all your help (though i will need alot of that in the future!!!)
-
thanks for the picture......well my neighbour was kind enough to fit new ones on for me today and to set them up the correct way. so now the wheels are on!!!!!
-
so according to this, the droplink/ARB should be where the yellow circle is??
-
cheers stevef182! have already posted and will be sendng andy a pm!!
-
stevef182, do you know how much they cost? and is it pretty straight forward to fit??
-
having read through this thread....there is alot of information to take in. am i right in assuming that the best option, which is the plug and play option will cost £42.00 (does this include p&p) if it is plug and play and price is £42.00 inc p&p then sign me up for one please!!

Are these any good? click here Wanted to upgrade as the quality of lighting at night is somewhat suspect....I have read up a few threads on here and I have found this on eBay and wanted other people's opinions. Also, what fitment is the headlight bulb? H4? H7?

Thanks everyone for their help and contribution!!

very nice and short ariel....ordered and paid for via eBay!! thanks!!
-
i will probably pop along to alan day and get it then....or do other manufacturers also use the same ariels?
-
The ariel on my car is totally shot to pieces and falling apart. The base is fine, but the actual ariel looks like its about to snap!! it screws off and on, so i am guessing that i will only need to get the top part of the ariel (unless VW only sells it as a set). What other VW's share the same area??..not that i am looking to steal one off another car, but i might go to a scrappy tomorrow or during the week and do not want to limit my search for a corrado ariel.
-
oooooooooooook.....that will explain it then.......can anyone else confirm this??......if this is the case....off to GSF to get new discs/pads/braided hoses and new droplinks for the car to be fitted tomorrow. or can i reuse the drop links or better to get new ones??
-
just posting some pictures to show exactly what i mean. what i think and looks like the droplink is clearly in contact with the wheel. unless anyone has other suggestions? having checked the car when i have the 17s on, that bar at the very bottom does look very low and makes me think that it should be that low. someone has suggested to me that i could perhaps get around the problem by using the spacers to place the wheels out a little further. is this a wise suggestion?
-
i will give that a go on saturday and see whether it does run true. thanks!
-
how do i check?? i got them today, will give them a good clean over the weekend and have a better look. as far as i can tell, they are not buckled. also forgot to mention that both side are scrapping against the droplinks.
-
But i am confused as to why the drop link is rubbing up against the inside of the wheel and causing a really nasty crunching sound??
-
Just wondering if anyone knows the answer to this. Are the wheels BBS Solitudes off the Golf VR6 the same as the BBS solitudes off the Corrado VR6. Reason I am asking is I have bought some BBS Solitudes from a Golf VR6 and after putting onto my VR6 have found that the droplinks are rubbing against the inside of the wheel.
-
oh well, i guess not then. thanks for everyones advice!!
-
thanks....can anyone else confirm??
