if it was the pump would it just buzz all the time i have been out this afternoon in it and it never did it i might try a new switch first what colour wire should be connected to it ?? cheers rob

my oil light likes to buzz at me now and again only on corners but today i was having a blast down a country lane and it kept buzzing so i switched the car off for a minute fired it up all was ok if i drive to work steady away its fine i changed the oil pressure switch last week and the oil level is ok could it be a faulty switch??? also what colour wire plugs onto the switch yellow or green

the boost return pipe had popped off on the back of the engine all good now quiet as a mouse

i removed the blank form the charger put everythign back to how it was driving home form work and it is still making the whoosh noise when changing gear and the whistle it does how??

right i am fed up of my g60 had it since march been nothing but trouble ever since at the moment I am waiting for a rear crank seal to arrive which is not cheap and not a job i can manage so its going into a garage yesterday it decided to dump all its water coming from above the power steering pump so looks like the water pump is goosed it drips then when the car warms up alot more comes out just had it running letting it warm up so i could try pin point the water leak the revs drop on the verge of cutting out little pop revs fly up then dip again took it round the block drives dead lumpy dont know where to go from here something different each week with it going wrong I am very close to breaking it what should I do

my car has decided to ditch its water tonight I had a look underneath the car its dripping off the power steering pump is the water pump above this?

well i never got the seal done parts were on back order vw want £104 +vat for the rear crank seal as its part of a unit they is no way i am buying that plus £160 to fit at a local garage i tried my local motor factors picked up a seal for £12 including vat surely I can just get the new seal pressed in when its in bits

my g60 has this problem since i removed the boost return and blanked it off crank seal has popped only leaks when its cooling down not loosing loads but its a job i cant do I cant get a seal until wednesday on back order

booked in tomorrow to get this seal done as I dont fancy laying under the car to do it could it just be old 198k on it I just dont want the new one to be doing the same thing in a few weeks or summat like i said it only happened since i put the plate on the charger and added the small filters rob

are the seals easy to source I might try pick some up still running the car wont get time to check it out properly until thursday

fingers crossed it aint that engine has done 198k so most possibly will be that knowing my luck

are they easy to replace if its that

since i fitted my supercharger blank and deleted the boost resturn pipe fitted little filters etc it is pissing oil from the sump by looks of things also I bought a oil catch tank how do you pipe them up on the g60 got a new sump gasket to put in does not look like the oil is coming from higher up its mainly coming down from the gearbox side of the block

i got my manifold and de-cat today do I need to cut the bolts or something because when i attach the wire ring and the 2 plates together the bolts come out of the back of the plate which means i wont be able to attatch the de-cat to it also can somebody tell me what the small piece is for pictures below heres the bolts coming through this is what needs to be fitted to the branch I got this extra bit not sure what its for rob

how do i get that damn bolts out on the gearbox side my sump is leaking pretty bad I have a gti gasket to fit seems identical but i cant get the sump off my sockets wont go in the gaps

i have just bought a jetex system for my g60 but i am wanting to replace it all I have a hottuning 6 branch on my mk2 vr looks decent enough has anybody used a hottuning 4 branch and decat before for the g60 £159 for the manifold 45 for the decat posted

new idle valve in today seems to run better got some more lamin x film finished the lights off on the front end had all the engine cleaned up today by a friend of mine who does detailing came up a treat got a few more modifications for the enigne in the next week or so

I bought a blue temp sender from euro earlier this week to cure the overfueling problem i had I will get a pic of where they run to tomorrow

firstly the car starts and drives fine but it ticks over low like its going to cut out like a slight miss when it warms up its perfect today it has aquired a new problem the revs wont settle wants to stay just under 1500 revs on idle what could be causing this ran fine yesterday also what are these pipes for beginning to think i have bought a knacker appreciate someones help thanks rob

gave the g60 a bit of a polish today to see how it came up they is a few different shades of blue door and rear quarter going to sort the paintwork next month

had a nightmare fitting the doors today pretty difficult to do on your own but there on anyway looks more like a car now having a hard time getting the door handles to fit properly i bought some porsche door seals still to small i think i need to cut part of the door to so they go on flush anyway heres a couple of pictures i took wing is not lined up properly need to adjust it when i get a minute
