  13. The whole package cost me £180 6 months ago. Based on that I'd end it for £140 all in.
  14. Apologies, completely forgot to highlight that it's on ebay... http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=270704197181&ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT ...and yes, it is the larger sized wheel.
  15. 6 months old, 2000 miles of use, pristine condition.
  16. It's getting average reviews, even from the fanboys. The clutch operation is still iffy and apparantly the online mode is poor. I have had GT5 Prologue for a few years now and got a GameRacer Elite combined with a Logitech G25 last year to get the full sim experience. I have to say the online mode on GT5P was garbage and the actual driving simulation is poor compared to Forza 3 on my 360 with Microsoft's own wireless wheel (which simulates MUCH better, especially understeer). Apparantly this new full GT5 title's online operation is no better than GT5P. Totally unacceptable, what the hell have they been working on for the last 5 years???
  17. Can anyone point me to a cheap place for a Master Cylinder? GSF don't do them and the ECP price is not what I would call cheap!
  18. It's a VR. I assume the bleed line on the bulkhead is the that of the Master? If so, then yes I already bled that... The slave I removed appeared to be the original as it was painted black. The replacement was from GSF, although it was the cheaper one as the PAG variant was not in stock and I was in a hurry. Can't see any fluid leaks anywhere...should the pedal return to normal use after one bleed through using the Eezibleed? Once the initial air bubbles had come though the clear pipe attached to the slave there was just a constant flow of nice clean fluid.
  19. After becoming stricken with the all too familiar occurence of the clutch pedal hitting the floor and not returning I then searched the forums and went ahead with the fitment of a new slave cylinder, of which the fitment went nice & smooth. That was where the fun ended. I initially tried to bleed the circuit the traditional "2 people" way, pump>bleed nipple open/closed etc. Absolutely no joy, pedal still dead as a dodo. Then I purchased an eezibleed kit and simply bled, once again, the slave. Still no further forward. Finally I bled the master cylinder, tried the pedal and started to get some life in it. I then rebled the slave, pulled the pedal from the floor and let it settle for a moment and then pumped it. Joy of joys it seemed to come back to life fully. Except that was only temporary. When I pressed the pedal about halfway down and held it there for a second or two the pedal gradually started to sink back to the floor, almost as if it was being sucked back in. Does this mean the master is goosed? Or am I not using the eezibleed properly?

    Rear ABS ring??

Thanks, was hoping someone would say that. 8)
  21. Can I remove it from the rear disc without damaging the ring? Any tips?
  22. I can never relate to all of the regular gripes I hear on this forum about Corrado reliability. I've used mine daily for over 2 years and it has never missed a beat. The only thing I have needed to replace was an oil pressure sensor which started to leak oil and that cost all of £10 from VW. The thing is, well they are just a Mk2 Golf with a different shape body aren't they? And it's well known how they run forever no matter how much you abuse them.
  23. Hmm, VAGCOM it is then. Anyone got it in the Newcastle area? Apart from the stealers obviously....
  24. Yeah that's a good shout. What about adjusting CO? I've done loads on Mk2 Golfs but have no idea where or how it's done on a VR6. The previous owner of this car fitted no less than 3 lambda sensors so I'd be amazed if it had anything to do with that.
  25. The water temp seems fine, never overheats and climbs to about the 80/90 degree mark. Not sure if it's a normal VR6 trait but mine seems to take an eternity to get to full temperature, a 20 minute drive to work and it's just starting to get somewhere near it. I've been living with the overfueling issue for a while now. It's this new oil loss issue that is concerning me.
