  1. some time's my C gets stuck in reverse , and I have to pull it out it quite hard to get out :o so yesterday it get's stuck again after i pulled it out 1st is hard to get and 2nd and reverse , so i had a tinker this morning .

    it seams to be the lower part of it , and the springs in there i made them do nothing it seams better , i was wondering if some one had a pic the there's with the spring arangament please :D .

  2. had some black guy kick my C , it broke his toe , not even a dent on it :clap:i looked for 1/2 hour :confused4: I feel for you man get a cam set up in the car or at it to film them, then you might find out who it is.

  3. It was wet , and i was doing 40 around a big roundabout and gave it full beans for 1/2 a sec , 1st time for me in 2 years for me :clap: was nothing like a mk2 cav understeer tho :gag:

     

    and is there a rev limiter on the 2.0 16V i have never hit that :D

  4. i know its shit i have been there , i got all the other spray work done at the same time she looks mint now , so wing replaced with one i got my hands on £20 quid it was blue , door dinks sorted and the bumper and fixed , the dippy bint that had my C before damaged the pas sill , fixed that all costing £570 inc vat .

  5. just the front my self that the one that seams to go soft first , i got all the tools here braker bar hard core sockets all 1/2 in drive it will be rusted to the max mate under the car its a 17mm and a 13mm bolts , i had the gear box one done on a mk2 golf before i didnt do this job but it made a better gear change after that .

  6. Its quite easy mate , your need some big tools ( or a big arm or foot and a mate to hold the bar on the socket) and a trolley jack and your car jack, use the cars jack to push the car up a bit , the trolley jack to lift the motor a bit undo fan on the rad get it out the way.

     

    now you can get to the front mount undo the old mount and fit new one .

    you can rase or lower the motor with the trolley jack to help you get the old one out and the new in

I had this and it was the TB full of crap and dry as a bone on the springs , there is a lower spring and the upper one get em covered in oil , I only had to take off the air pipe and i used carb cleaner and a brush then oiled that inside after , my tick over was 2.5krpm and now its 800rpm .

  8. yeah Its was the ISV , the black thing , Si I took it off and cleaned it with brake cleaner (not the best but all i had) can't used this to leave it with the isv in it . i need some carb cleaner me thinks :)

     

    I got right into fixing that job yesterday , still giveing me jip reving at 1.25 k now witch is a hole lot better 8) .

     

    I cant seam to get the search working on here to well , is there a gide?

     

    it was 1 hour yanards lol not 6 it would of been well dark by then , i sorted it in an hour and other bits i found not cliped up right
