bit of a strange one i think, i blew the headgasket last month ive had the head skimmed ported and polished and had some bigger inlet valves and seats put in its all gone back together but has a missfire but im not losing any power if anything it goes a lot better than it did before, ive taken each lead off 1 by 1 and the engine note definatly changes its also got new leads the plugs arent too old and were cleaned up before they went back in...... any ideas?? cheers

sorry :oops: was pissed off with the car the other day too many things are starting to go wrong with it and im loosing interest in it now but i still love it to bits and thankyou for the help will try and get it sorted at the weekend

ive got a oil leak on the vr its coming from what looks like another oil filter housing just to the right of the oil filter, what is this? and is there a gasket behind it ?

dont mean to steal this thread but theres a few "door handle" threads! what is involved in changing the door handles for flush ones ie audi a4 etc is there any bodywork required? cheers

7.5x17" 205/40/17 standard suspension still drives the same although i will be lowering it soon (sorry bout picture quality)

not the thermostat housing its like a round canister with a plug on the top, 1 hose goes to the heater matrix the other hose goes round to the front of the head no joy on vw spares cheers

and has a plug on top of it

no, as your looking at the engine its on the right hand side one of the heater pipes go into it

was out in the corrado today and she decided to dump all the coolant out everywhere :( its coming from some sort of sensor i think, its a vr6 and 1 of the heater hoses comes down onto this sensor and the other pipe goes round to the front of the head can anyone post a pic or tell me what this sensor is pls so i can order 1 tomorow cheers
