I've swapped my cloth seats for leather,No it has its only loom. If you can grab the wiring loom from the car the heated seats were from it will make your life easier/ My mate's looked at my loom and says it dont look that hard to make one, rather him them me though. The loom has the relay within it and you will need the dashboard switch as well. Its very straightforward, just a bit of a job if u are gonna fit as vw did. I havent fitted mine yet, mainly due to the hot weather and no need for more heat to come from the seats, Heatedness will be in by the end of the summer, guarenteed :)

They are left hand drive ones kongo. Dr Mat's example is a RHD one, i think if the seller had advertised that a bit better, he could have made more from it,

You can't still get them from the dealers. I ordered 4 sets, recieved 2 and and still have 2 on order, That was coming up to a year ago. I doubt vw will put them into production again and doubt will ever see rest of my order.

Highest i have ever seen on my vr is 118 oil temp, water hardly ever gos above 90 and when it does its just a bit over and soon cools back down. In this warm weather been around 90/110 oil temp, depending on how fast im going.

A set of leads from G&S is £59, not sure how much the vw ones are, u might just wanna try the one thats causeing probs first. Only the plug puller lead, which you should have under the bonnet.
