  1. ive got the 3 pin relay that go's with the gauges pins 58D 58d 58 what way are the wired up please ive got the voltage wired to the cigerette lighter an it shows the wrong voltage so thats why im gonna use the relay ( befor anybody say's i dont need it ta )

    just put a new knock sensor on vw (£ 51 got some new other wires they said i needed but didnt) still the same the old 1 was in tatters as for the noise i dont even accelerate hard and the knocks there same revs

    sounds like a rattley bolt/nut from the drivers side some where if you rev the car standing still you cant hear it definately a rattle no cat

    just been out and it only makes the noise when you get to 2700/2800 revs even if im lightly accelerating but not always (is that when the boost starts coming in) is there anything on the boost side that could rattle like that

    since setting the timing on the G its got a rattling noise like a loose bolt notices on even mild throttle is this pinking (someone said it was) none of my other car have sounded like this it was a completely different noise and very distingtive and sound nothing like it but all cars are different
  7. just been looking through things about setting the timing ive just read some where that it shouldn't be started with it disconected dosent say why

  9. putting the door panel back on the corrado giving you greif :bad-words: that bastid door pin keep flopping about :help: not going where its supposed to arggh you sh%^&&nt :censored: i sussed it out today just get the biro thats sitting leeking in your door pocket and take the insert out and put the outter casing through the hole in the panel and over the pin it go's through the hole every time :clap: :clap: :clap: :clap: :clap: good eh im not even gonna charge you for this info :notworthy: but you can make a donation to this web site if you want to
  10. is this ment to be conected to anything as its just dangling all i know is its something to do with the boost could this be the cause of the noise on accelaration oh yeah just tried to replace the passenger side door handle with a passat rear 1 it dont work what else do you have to do
  11. yeah good earth just checked the sensor its still sitting at 1 volt not moving
  12. fitted today still not quite right do you have to let them run in a bit till there working ok
  13. dose it realy matter what way up you fit the cooler, joints up or down my point being theres oil left in the pipes as the coolers lower than the sanwich plate oh yeah pic of the car with new wheels

  15. thanks for that ive just been to see about a new lambda at vw they say it should be a 5 wire plug but ive only got 4 the cars a 91 with cat the cat been removed also its got a second hand ecu on it would that make a difference or are they the same do you have to reset the ecu if you put a new sensor in if so HOW
  16. what are the consiquences of running the car with the lambda sensor unplugged why i had the exhaust build last saturday since the the cars been getting worse the car ticks over fine and runs ok untill your sitting at the lights or waiting in traffic go to pull away and it wont pull awaythen the revs build up little back fire and then you pull away got under the car and the sensor was loose and rattling around so took it back and the guy tighten it up said that should make a difference it has its now worse if i unplug the sensor it runs ok HELP cheesey
  17. thanks again so its only the 4x17mm underneath the car then it comes off ( no extra 1's hidden anywhere else) ive been looking at full sze ics at about the same depth 30-40mm it seems if you dont go full height you can go a lot deeper if you only use the gap in the middle
  18. i thank you all for then info it looks as if im gonna go forthe easy option find a ic 1"-2" shorter and some where near the other dimentions the thickness seems the critical bit not much room to play with by the look of things(or is there more than there looks) ive had a look around and you can get brandnew ic from £80 in all shapes and sizes so i cant see the point of paying £100 plus for a used rally ic when you know you've gotta cut things about to make it fit it cost more to get the hose's and the bend i'll let you know what i get and bung it up any body put up a pic of where all the fixings for the front panel BIG HELP and where are the other 2 bolts to get the bumper off found the 4 big 1's ,on 1 site it said the were behind the indecators had a look could'nt find them thanks in advance cheesey

  20. yeah i think the 1 they fitted was a bit smaller the german guy has to make some alterations to the car to fit his could you measure your 1 up for me as i think in just gonna get a after market 1 thats about the size and hopefully should make it a bit easier to fit ,just the bother of getting the pipe work together i was thinking of 1 with both the fittings at at the same end and extending them from were they are now
  21. yeah seen that 1 as well it says a rally style IC so is it or not from a rally and the pipes do you just need to get the rally set to fit it what about the other end (not the super charger end)what pipes are they im going to gwerks in a couple of weeks i,ll just get the list off them please follw up with the manifold just say meth ( is it any good once its fitted,did it fit well ) and the fitting of your 1 2 door fun (is it actully as easy as said, any other bits that needed to be done) thanks for the input chaps
  22. sorry to ask this but do the rally and the mk2 G60 have the same IC or are the different is there an aftermarket 1 that would fit better may be a bit shorter im shore you could get 1 made the right size and shape for less than that!!!! i know some 1 will tell me different how much are the hoses and pipe work to make 1 fit saw that other link wish i could read german look like a good write up
  23. thank you for that bit of a difference so i take it it make quite a difference to performance it take it these are like rocking horse sh&t hopefully not to much extra pipe work to go with em any 1 with this fitted to a C let me know how easy please again pictures would say a thousand words had an exhaust made yesterday has any body brought a manifold off of eu tunning nedalands on ebay £159 10 year garentee if so your coments please
