ok thanks for the reply,s I wont bother connecting it up then ill leave it alone bit strange why vw would put this wire in but not connect it to anything this wire was broke on the loom side wen i had the engine in the corrado i spent ages trying to re pin it should of just left it cus it were,nt even connected at the other end cheers vw lol

hi im building a mk1 g60 an im a bit stuck on what to do with the lamba wiring as u can see in the picture the purpel wire for the lamba is ok but the black wire has been cut an i cant understand y vw would put a wire in an not connect it up could some one have a look at there ecu plug an let me now if theres are the same thanks

hi if your g60 runs bad an its not ticking over ok an have problems holding slow speeds try replace,ing your E.C.U RELAY As this cured my car now its a dream to drive again .hope this helps someone.

sorry i cant help cus iv had the same prob for years it dont pop back in the inlet manifold no more but still starts up like it runing on two or three cylinders. but i have just cured my tick of prob its was the ecu relay hope someone cures ya prob so i can cure mine as well mate lol g60 engines r funny things ant thay.

went to the vw dealers yesterday to get some new spark plugs for my g60 golf an guess what thay,v stop making them come on vw sort it out!!!

thanks ill have a look my hose from the charger to the intercool is made up of bits could,nt find a oe one so its posible its leaking

Hi hope someone can help iv got a g60 engine in my golf the engine is out of a 92 corrado its got a sns chip 68 mm pully an g60 golf intercool the problem is the boost gauge nedle on it bounce,s up an down tht fast it,s a blur then some times mybe once out ten times it will be ok but sits at 800ish on the dial can any one help thanks ric

hi any one tell me how to change the inlet manifold gasket. the cars a g60 corrado 1991 the garage was saying you have to take the injectors out is this right

bad news rolled my g60 so she gone to the heavens but not all is lost built my self a g60 golf with corrado dash got it on the road monday goes like fuck well happy with it took me 4 mounths to finish it all on me jack jonstromlaufplan_gamma4.pdfDSC00313.JPG[/attachment:cjb45650]

cheers for the answer but the poxy thing cured it self the other day very strange never heard a car run so bad an it cures it self happy days. but id like to no what it was,just hope it dnt do it again

hi ya its 2.5" sorry sorted the exaust out now got a 16v box but thats not quiet the same as my corrado back box. so ive wraped a backed bean can round it to seal it up still leaks a bit but ill sort that. poxy engine is playing up now starts ok soon as it comes off choke it runs realy bad sort of slowly dies. so u go to rev it an nothing for ages then she revs ok but then dies again .sounds lumpy an back fires now an again. done my head right in she was running sweet as a nut, any ideas would be great as cant mot it runing like that an its my only car now

hi i am having trouble fitting my corrado 3in exhaust into a golf mk2 which has had the g60 engine and running gear fitted. the corrado middle box is far to big to fit and hits in a lot of places.the corrado exhaust is a scorpion stailess steel after market exhaust sytem. can i just change the middle box for a standard corrado middle box? or does anyone know of anything else that would fit. any help or ideas would be great thanks.......

cool i thought about doing that but were,nt to sure took the sump of today there was a small amount of brass in the oil but nothing to bad the pick up pipe was clean took the pump of could,nt see ne thing wrong with it the cogs inside looked ok didnt no what to do so packed up an went to vw an brought a new oil pump 118£ ouch an new shells if it still sounds bad after ill sell the fecking thing lol

ya would like to get a pro in but going cost iv got a thew friends who r into golf so thay should have a oil pressure gauge u think i should get a smaller drive belt so i can disconect the supercharger dnt wnt to fry that just had it rebuilt last year

no dnt think it was running for a long time think it stalled straight away when i started it the nocking sound was quiet then it started getting louder so i turned it of going to get a sump gasket tomoro have a look c if i can see anything wrong i did put 5w 40 oil instead of my useall 10w 40 but cant see that would make any differance

just done oil an filter change so oil is cool there no buzzer sound but dnt no if iv got one just the light flashing an lots of engine noise

hi can anyone think of why my g60 lump is making a bad taping sound after i rolled my car. the engine cut out straight away so dnt think it was starved of oil was realy looking forward to driving it as well sounds like the oil pump ant working y would that be. i put 5w 40 oil in it an new filter mybe the oil is too thin i was runing it on 10w 40 the oil light was flashing so its got to be oil pressure mybe the pick up pipe is blocked or the oil pump is dry an it ant priming it self ne one got ne ideas on what to do i dnt want to start the engine again cus dnt want to brake the engine or supercharger whats my next step in sorting this out cheers guys

hi i rolled my g60 corrado so iv put the engine in a mk2 golf started it today it fired up straight away but the oil light was flashing an the top end sounded very tappy any one got ne ideas as what to do im thinking of takeing the supercharger belt of so that ant runing ne one now the link to the page telling u how to do this.dont no why i ant got ne oil going round the engine ne one got any ideas
