do late wings and bumpers fit early cars, baically could everything from a vr6 fit a 16v? bumpers, suspension, wings, bonnet? what else would i need to change if i had both cars at my disposal and was converting the 16v to vr6 spec? thanks, sorry if its been covered

did a 14.50 in my vr6 at elvington. good tyres, koni suspension, completely standard engine, magnex exhaust. ran with half a tank and complete interior/spare wheel. was well chuffed! :D

hey, was just wonderin where u got them numberplates made up from, mariojoshi?? i have german plates, but plod keep tellin me their illegal, i am after a set like urs as am sure i cud get away with them. thanks

dunno about rallying there, but the track is not the best!! ive also been to the airfield at elvington but thats a concrete not tarmac surface and isnt as sticky as youd like! wana go santa pod but a 150 miles away plus racing, turns into a £150 day out!!

hello all, i was just wondering if any people on here went to the 'run what youve brung' drag days that are held at various tracks/airfields throughout the summer??? I took my Vr6 to the 1/4 mile run day at york yesterday, and when it dried up in the afternoon and i got good traction ran some good times, the fastest being a 14.50, and all consistently under 14.84. In the wet I was managing 15.2 to 15.5. My VR6 is completely standard bar a cat-back Magnex exhaust, and it still sits on original speedlines, i ran with all my leather interior in place and removed nothing, not even the spare!! My Honda VTEC mates were dead impressed and astonished at my times!! They love the sound but had always dismissed it as too heavy and unrevvy for a 1/4 mile weapon. The thing is with more practice, a more agressive start (I was launching at 1750rpm) and a dryer day I believe 14.2/14.0 is dead achievable! your thoughts???? thanks, atif

hi all, i was just wondering what my corrado would be worth if i were to sell it at this time, it's a : 1994 L Corrado 2.9 VR6.(ABV) It's finished in metallic sherry pearl which is immaculate bar the odd dint and stone chip. It has got 137k on the clock but has full service history including the first 12 stamps from VW dealers and always serviced meticulously after that at specialists, with a folder full of reciepts to prove. It has the late spec interior finished in grey leather which is in very good condition. It also comes with the private plate 'H6 VWC', or "H6 VolksWagenCorrado" Has tax till end of March and MOT till end of May. Cat1 Toad Alarm system. Magnex stainless steel exhaust, (sounds good) and a K&N filter for induction roar!lol! Koni adjustable shocks with Koni lowering springs all the way round giving a smooth but sporty drive. Car sits on the standard speedlines in vgc, with Toyo proxes t1R's all round with lots of tread (front 2 new!)!! Fully functioning active rear spoiler, rises at 60mph! Has had the Lupo wiper conversion with new aero blades from VW last week. Timing chains, guides and tensioners done at 115 k and head gasket at 135k! Car pulls really strong, posted a 14.8 sec 1/4 mile at elvington. Recently had: New radiator New wheel bearings all round (from VW after gsf crap failed after 6 weeks!!) New front dics/pads (brembo) New spark plugs and HT leads (from VW) New oil pressure switches Gearbox oil change using redline mt. New track rod end and been 4 wheel aligned. Had oil/filter/coolant change 2k ago. Car comes with a 6 branch after-market exhaust manifold (not fitted yet) and a set of metal german plates! Which are for show use only as plod keep informing me with £30 fines!!! Any ideas???? Much appreciated, thanks

is there a relay for the front wipers? if so which one, i located the relay for the rear wipers and pulled it out, put it back in but wipers continued at full speed still. thanks

hello, ive got a 94 vr6 corrado, and from time to time my wipers set themselves to full speed and don not slow down or turn off even in the off position. I have tried turning the car on and off again but it doesnt work! They just seem to sort themselves out after a bit of time, usually 10-15 mins in which time they knacker my aero wipers (full speed on a dry screen!!!). I'd appreciate any advice. tHANKS

hello, im new on here and i have a 1994 vr6 corrado and when i bought it the guy said the rear spoiler had been disconnected as kept blowing fuse for abs warning lamp. Got fed up 1 day so connected a wire in behind the switch and pushed in the manual spoiler knob on the back panel, spoiler started to function perfectly automatically and with the switch. Then it went to the garage for a few weeks gettin sum work done and when came out the spoiler rose as shud at 60 but noticed it didnt go back down, tried with the switch but got nothing and then went to fuel up, car would not start again afterwards and wouldnt bump either, however i could hear the fuel pump tick but the car jus wouldnt turn, i vaguely remember rear spoiler problems being linked to fuse 16, checked it and was blown, replaced it and car fired up. However when ever tryin to bring spoiler down with switch it blows this 15amp fuse, and the spoiler stays up even under 15mph. Put a 30 amp fuse in just to bring it down with the switch which worked well and then put the 15amp back in and works fine automatically but will blow with the switch. Have read that fuse blows if mechanism gunked up but mines is clean and the runners are greased! Not too bothered about not working with the switch although would appreciate your thoughts, however i am concerned with the car not starting. And my C seems to be temperamental, when i removed fuse 16 to go buy more fuses some times it started at other times it didnt, my manual mentions nothing about anything enginewise linked to this fuse so am confused to why it started the 1st time i replaced fuse 16 after not starting??? And even with fuse 16 blown the abs warning lamp doesnt illuminate however the sunroof does stop working. Im soory if this post is very longwinded or has been covered before, i have searched but cant find any1 with this exact problem, your suggestions/ 2p would be greatly appreciated. Thanks atif.
