Red-line band starts at just under 7k rpm - looks like the end of the red-line band finishes just short of 8k rpm

Idle speed on the car is too high at the moment, but I'm hoping that a new temperature sender is going to sort that ... Took the VR out for it's first spin on the motorway this morning - The clocks report that the car runs at 4250RPM at 70 in 5th gear. Car anyone tell me if this is normal?? Cheers Si

Hi, Having a similar issue with mine, revs aren't as high as yours were but still too high! How did u fix it in the end? Cheers Si
