Right What i Would like to know is how well Corrados go,
to say a mk2 16v /mk1 8v ,Does the extra Weight hurt them ,
How well have you found your rado on the track ?
I have a 2 litre 16v with a Strong head kr cams german race exhaust
Manfold and downpipe also running Vr power cat and Race flywheel
not run in yet :( not sure it will give me what i want :!: .
gearing is not as nice as the mk2 gti's which i think can only hurt :(
Right what have u found ? and what sort of power is your 16v getting to the wheels ?
-
Standard is around 20 to 22 i think .

What are those rims ?Don,t know ,say made in germany on the back but no name :?
BUMP new pics
-
Corrado 2 litre 16v Strong head and Kr inlet cam cat bypass
will see 145 bhp to the wheels and you can rev the crap out of it and it will hold together ,G60 yea a chip and a 68 mm pully as small as you want to go ! but they all go bang don,t take the stick :(
Bottom crank shaft pully comes lose on G60 as well Not good !
Better with a 16v :D

Just wondering when fitting upper front strut brace do you have to drill holes in the bay near the top mounts to alloy bolts to secure it in place?I noticed a couple of small screws in place already do these play any role in securing them ?
The two screws already in place are for ABS plug brackets .

Really fed up of the car pinking! I've got a 1991 1.8 16v and when the engines hot and under load it pinks like mad. I've had the timing done in the past which worked for a little while and i've also used Redex which i think did sod all! Any ideas folks? Also the car has been run for the past 2-3 years on optimax so can't be the fuel? Will new injectors cure this?If your timing is set up right and C.o is ok (check fuel pressure and control pressure are ok aswell)16v should run well enough with out k star they don,t need it unless your cr is way high
If the head has not been skimmed to death and all is well with the fueling
there is no reason why you car should pink if set right
I set them up all the time and have no problems
Edd.
P,s lack of fuel can cause an engine to get hot and pink
pull the injectors out ,jump the fuel relay and lift sensor plate
put the injectors into 4 clear bottles they should all have the
same fan and deliver the same amount in all the bottles
hope this helps
