I do believe that about 90% VR6 T is running without forged parts. If you won't go much over 400 bhp you should be fine with a spacer and ARP's. Of course if your engine is healthy.
-
Yep, 650 at your age is a good price. You can get a classic policy but you have to be 25+
-
Can't believe you didn't sell it. I got almost a grand about 1,5 year ago for my spare one but was in bit better condition. Somebody buy it, you can get reconditioning stuff for around 100 quid to make it as new, so still a very good deal.

What I thought :) Another blackberry in Aberdeen :) Mine so far is hidden in a lockup as working full time and study mechanical engineering full time didn't left any time for my hobby :(
-
No probs, already turned down 2250 offer on them and if you can find them in original leather for less, I would say you are very lucky.

VR6 SKF Front Wheel Bearing Kit [Pair of] - VKBA 1491 - OEM
emu replied to StueyB's topic in Parts for Sale
This are the oem bearings used by VW and sorry to tell you that but they can be bought for 57 quid delivered from ebay for a pair, as bought them to fit my car. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/SKF-wheel-bearing-kit-SEAT-VW-VKBA-1491-152445-/290876160044?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item43b991f82c -
I noticed they started coloring them but I got another set recently purchased for my vr6 and there is no marks as well.
-
I would say around 2,5 but on current market you'd be lucky if you get close to 2k for it. Sad true :(
-
sorry, but no

OK, thanks for that, rear is same as I had fitted to my last vr6 corrado so rear is definitely vr6 one ---------- Post added at 11:41 AM ---------- Previous post was at 11:07 AM ---------- Edited my first post with accurate corrections.

All 3 mounts are brand new although been seating in a box in garage for some time so not shiny anymore but the won't be shine after a week on a car anyway so still in new condition. No idea if they are road or competition as, as usual vibra-technics don't put any marking on them :( Front engine mount is for VR6 conversion in MK2 golf but will fit Corrado 16V, 8V and G60 engines, just will be stiffer due to VR6 weight. - 120 posted Rear mount is VR6 - 65 posted Gearbox is universal so can be fitted to any engine - 65 posted All 3 - 215 posted
