Having owned mk2 golfs my whole life i am a newbie to corrados but having owned my 92 G60 just a few months i have lost track of the things that have gone wrong (front and rear wheels bearings, driveshaft, sunroof, elec window, indicators, sticky accellerator, speakers) my instrument cluster has now died except temp and fuel gauges. Thought i had bought a lemon but seems these babies go wrong all the time (prob why you dont see many on the road!)
Having spent most of the morning scouring previous posts on here it seems it could be one of many things, but nobody has come up with a definative answer as far as i can tell?
The block connector and rubber pipe in back of unit seem fine and all the fuses seem fine, could it be one of the relays? Gonna try disconnecting the battery on the off chance as that been suggested but doubt how that will help. The most common suggestion is checking something on the gear box or an earth connection somewhere. Can anyone talk me through how to check these in laymans terms and where i would find them?
Any help would be much appreciated as i am seriously considering cutting my losses and going back to my trusty MK2's
