Cheers for the replies, I've got a budget of around 2 - 2.5k providing I get the money Im asking for for my car. (heres a pic) LOL yes I no its a ford! no piss takers please! LOL I did see a 2.0 16v advertised with 78k for sale, it was cheap, some german guy selling it, thing is it was red! mrs don't like red cars, then again I'm the one driving it! Should I go for the 1.8 or the 2.0 then chaps? I did see a car advertised on H plate, showing 112k? its going for 2k, but not sure if its worth it? has a folder full of history from what the owner told me..

as above, just getting an idea etc..

Cheers for the reply, would get a G60 if I wasn't doing so many miles, but as I am, I perfer to go for a 2.0L for now, then get a VR6 Storm in a few years time.. are 1.8 16v any good? cos a few people have said to sty away from early cars like the 1.8? please someone tell me otherwise, cos i saw a H plater with 116k folder full of history, would it be worth going to have a look??

as above, I'm looking to buy a corrado in the next month or so, need as much info as pos, looking to buy a 2.0L 16v.. on a K-reg onwards.. anyone tell me what to look out for, how much I should be paying for one? also noticed alot of the cars are showing more than 100k, what are the 16v lumps like? would I be making a made move to buy say a motor with 146k with full history? would I be better of with a low mileage one? (if I can find one) as I do alot of miles, and looking for realibilty! please help...
