i haven't tried anything with the ignition switch yet, when i turn on the ignition the starter engages immediately every time. but like you say,it has only started playing up with the warmer weather so i'll definately give that a bash, cheers mate :)

having an occasional problem on my '93 VR6. occasionaly when i try to start the car,the engine will not fire and i'm getting a clicking noise from the fuel pump relay as the engine is turning over(i think its the fuel pump relay, its the one one the bottom right in the fuse box) i have tried another relay and bypassed the immobiliser just to try and eliminate some things but this hasn't made any difference. i'm starting to think it may be a loose conection somewhere because the car can be fine for days before the problem returns. i have checked the back of the fuse box and everything seems ok. anyone had this problem??????

well i finally found a corrado VR6  bought it from toon_vw on the forum so a few of you will probably recognise it, not done much to it really, just gave it a good machine polish to get rid of some scratches and swirl marks, planning to get some coilovers for it and a stainless exhaust soon, this is my first raddo and really happy with it so far, wish id bought one years ago tbh  some pics,

hi all, i'm on the lookout for a corrado VR6 at the moment and was needing some advice on the timimg chains.. is there an actual mileage when these should be changed or are they normally changed when they become noisy? im handy enough with a spanner to do this myself but i would like to budget for this if a suitable car came up that was needing the chains done. only viewed one corrado so far, i have about £4000 to spend so hopefully that should get me a good one, if anyone has one for sale in scotland let me know
