ok couple of days to go and my dad has cold feet about me borrowing the RX8, thought he would as he is spending a lot on a major valet tomorrow lol so the rado it is :) kinda glad actually after the day i had in brighton today. drove through the centre and heard a few "ooh a corrado" comments, so looking forward to it :) think i'll start my own thread in the galleries with lots of pics on the way

no worrys about the hijack lol. as for where im staying dont have an option really, its all free. got invites for a vip weekend including accomodation at the resort and all food and drink included. get to meet the players as well :) anyways think im gonna take the RX8 not driven it yet and they way my dad drives its gonna need a good clean out :norty:

im really undecided. i love my rado and there is no way in the world it would let me down over that little trip. but, if i take my dads rx8 he will fill it with fuel, and be nice to rinse the 230hp out :) also i have vip tickets and staying at the resort, so would be nice to park in with all the posh expensive cars with the rado 8)

So I'm going away in a few weeks time to Celtic manor for the Welsh open. I'm out at my parents and they both ask if want borrow one of there cars ad they are worried mine won't get there :-( My car is a diamond and never broken down and never let me down. Serviced regularly, and loves being driven. It's only a 400 mile round trip, should I be offended? On the flip side I could take either a 2 year old mini cooper s, or a 2 year old Mazda rx8 What you guys think?

lovely j plate g60 outside the crown pub in littlehampton this evening :)
-
my uncle has one and loves it to bits, its the 2.0 but i think he is very tired of how much it costs him to run. he just had the cam belts done and variator at a local alfa specialist which he always use's and ended up with a 1000 pound bill. and i think this needs doing every 30k or so. as far as i can tell they are very very expensive to run and service as for build quality, its italian. if build quality is what your after buy german. :D

my power steering has been noisy ever since i bought the car and topped it off twice in 2 years. so decided to eventually investigate and found this. followed this hose from the resevoir. could it be the reason its making all the noise?
-
problem is, these cars were in reality a pice of crap, the owner musta realised this and thought "screw it" and bought a porsche :)

its either a 6 or an 8, cant remember of the top of my head. if you have an extendable magnet. you can wave that about in the door and find all the bits that came off. i even got the clip back. if you check this thread you can see it viewtopic.php?f=3&t=80951 there is another thread somewhere with better pics and how to assemble. if not just whip your other handle out and rinse and repeat. :)

should just be the e-clip or circlip on the back, get the door card off and should all be inside the door. mine has done this a few times and eventually put a decent circlip on and it stayed :) will need to wind the spring back on and a little cast piece and job's a goodun
-
yep still going good, not done to much to at the moment. just the usual, brakes and wishbones, engine mount and other things. actually as your here. what the hell does that button do under the steering wheel? lol pressed it but dont get any oil slicks or bullet shields up :)
