  1. My car weighs more than a standard Mk3. However, i already have the correct Porsche calipers for use on the front of a VW thanks. :) For anyone interested. The Porsche Boxster S rear calipers have 28/30mm pistons. The calipers i have on my car are 36/40mm pistons. So yes, they do make my car do an endo. And this is what made me realise i nearly made a huge mistake, and elect to fit the correct calipers intended to do the job properly: Please consider that these at least shouldnt be used on the front of a VW, and just sell them on eBay to someone that needs a set for the back of a Porsche. There is still a market out there, however, i dont want someone to make a mistake by fitting these calipers to the front of their pride and joy when they are simply not up to the job.
  2. Sold pending payment/collection. Please lock/close thread.
  3. I would like to point out that the Boxster S rear calipers should not be fitted to the front of any VW, as they are woefully inadequate with totally incorrect piston sizes. The piston surface area of the Boxster S rear calipers is less than that of the original single piston calipers that VW will have fitted on your car. For this conversion to work properly, you should use the front calipers from a Boxster NON s, 2.5/2.7. This is what i have on my Polo GTI. I got my kit complete from Dave Brown (vagbremtechnic.com).
  4. Cheers Rob. Yep, never left VWs really. Well, had a 10month stint in a Clio 200. And 3 months in a Fiat 500 while I waited for an ex demo Polo GTI to surface. :)
  5. Unfortunately these are up for sale due to the fact that they do not clear the Porsche brakes on my 6R Polo GTI. I am absolutely gutted about this, and now need to shift them on, as the only thing that im going to be able to get over the brakes for a reasonable amount of cash is a set of TD Pro Race 1.2. Specs: 17" x 7.5" 5x100 PCD ET35 The wheels have been refurbished at some stage with gloss grey centres and metallic silver outers. The refurbish is perfectly useable, while not 100% perfect, they are extremely well presented and the paintwork is very shiny. At the same time, all the bolts were renewed and carbon style BBS centre caps were fitted. No tyres are included with the wheels. BBS RK 504 Trial Fit by LukeDeakin, on Flickr 1 wheel has a slight mark on the outer rim as pictured here: The wheels can be paid for cash on collection from Solihull, or i can ship for £25. If you want to collect, then no paypal is available. I will accept Paypal providing courier is used. £500 Please PM me for my phone number. You can email me on: luke dot deakin at gmail dot com Any questions i am happy to ask and welcome inspection of the wheels. Picture stolen from VW Vortex. They look great on a Corrado.

  17. You wont need passes. But you will need to speak to whoever is organising the Corrado-Forum Display (if any as i havent heard yet) to get space. Arrive at 11am with the rest of your display and then you can get a place. CCGB do have a display organised however.

  22. Ian from CCGB (Vr6 Storm) is organising a Display. Some of you guys may want to get together with them and do a combined CCGB and Corrado-Forum display. It could be huge if you did.
