  1. Hi there... Bit new to all this but I've sent a message to you.. I think.... I live in verwood and need a bit of help... But am an Audi owner, please don't hold this against me... It's a nice one ;)

  2. Blimey the old girl is back! I still wish I had never sold her. Hope you have fun and sort it all out. Got some more old pics about at home if you would like me to post them? Just found one at work.... Cheers Andy Brookes
  3. Thought that may raise a little laugh somewhere! Here are pics of the C's last journey, had a little lump in my throat as it went.
  4. You won't get much lower than that!!!! The shell is off to the crusher tomorrow......R.I.P. H5 AOB!
  5. that was the first offer, not to bad for a first offer I thought. How many times did you go back before accepting?
  6. Got an offer today from the insurance co, £3k and I can have the salvage for £480. Not to bad an offer but will go back and ask for some more as it would be difficult to replace a silver VR in as good a condition for £3k, what do you reakon??
  7. http://the-corrado.net/.archive/forum/viewtopic. ... &start=120 :(
  8. was told by the assessor that viewed my C that the glasses guide said £1600 for a 93 c, but he never uses the guide price. He has a look at autotrader to see what the market price is. He asked me how much I thought mine was worth....I said I had had a look round and expected to pay £4 to £4.5k to replace it with a C in similar condition!! We shall see what the offer comes in at!
  9. Still waiting for my offer, that seems very low mate........dont cave in yet!
  10. waiting for the offer letter or phonecall. I'm not gonna rush them as I could do with the courtesy car for a while!
  11. Just spoken to my insurances nominated garage and they have put a quote in of £3255 to fix the C. Thats got to be a write off. Will have to wait and see what the insurance company have to say now. I'm hoping to keep the remains and it can become a donor for all of you!
  12. I didnt think to much to the slight stiffness of my neck on the night of the accident. But over two weeks later I'm sat here with a big headache up the back of my head with knotted muscles in the top of my neck. I think its gonna be a while before i'm back to normal. A few trips to the oseopath will be in order. I'm not one to take advantage of a situation, but it bloody hurts!
  13. Sorry to hear the news of another. Mine was hit a couple of weeks ago. Still getting a bit of stiffness from the whiplash, hope yours is not to bad. If you havent already get your insurers to put you in contact with an independant solicitor to sort out a personal injury claim.
  14. I'm scared that this might have an effect on rallies like the scally rally. We had such a great time last year with no trouble at all (apart from some banger racers who decided it was a good idea to have a banger race on Barcalona beach!!). We are doing it again this year, so really hopeful that we don't get effected by these rich kids!
  15. I have always sprayed my coilovers with cavity wax, has stopped any corrosion of the threads.
