  1. Yes but you hear horror stories from everyone else as well. Only time will tell!
  2. Yep whatever you want, they'll make. They showed me what they had in stock, so I chose that one. Its also very similar to one i've seen on a silver rado with polished TT 5 spokes, so I had to have it.
  3. I asked for a mild tone, as you won't hear much over the din of the charger anyway. A loud one would serve only to infuriate the neighbours even more. But g60's exhaust gasses are hotter than hell anyway, so its still as loud as the last one. I like it :)
  4. probably not a great deal, you'd be much better off selling it privatley. Try Ebay Autotrader first.
  5. Exellent news! Car is pretty much part of the furniture at Dubusiness, and it would save a hell of a lot of cash if you could do it in Taffs Well. When you get a date set with Gareth, gimme a shout, ££ waiting to cross palms
  6. yep flexi attachment from the manifold, everything. I was well impressed, it wasn't just slapped on and 'give us your cash'. You can see by the tailpipe, some places would have just slung a big rubber on it and left it at that, but its been done properly
  7. He did indeed. Did a fantastic job. I also asked him about his trip down to you for his set up, and he was very pleased, so i'll be popping down sometime soon System cost me £320
  8. hehe. no idea what make the lights are, they were on it when I bought it.
  9. 840, they do 20mpg and can get em for 6 grand. Or an Audi A8
  10. Imagine if Motor World sold them in their Kroozin section.. there'd be saxo's up and down the motorways on the hard shoulders with bits of fan in their engine :)
  11. Following on from Rich's Powerflow zaust thread on CGTI, I was spurned on to go and get mine taken off and thrown in the bin, to be replaced by:
  12. that is horrific news. They must have been staking that car out for a while. Scum.
  13. Damn, I'd hoped you were ging to break it and sell me your wheels. :( £700!! bargain! thats why im with Flux, my Corrado is actually £10 cheaper to insure than my old polo mk4 1.4 8v. I know what you mean bout the effect they can have.. when something packs in on my car I think pah sell it and buy something 'modern'. But then you get in it and think...
  14. Amazing, no traction issues from 25mph to 60!
  15. Hi all, I want to get some 17" wheels. What is the best ET for the Corrado, and what would be the 'best' tyre size? Cheers

    Newbie

That does seem like exessivley bad fuel consumption. I get around 17 - 18 on th emotorway and about 13 around town, but im overfuelling quite badly and need it tinkered with.
  17. Was on Tebay bout a month ago wasnt it? I remember looking at it. Was still orange then, unless they were old pics
  18. Passat Estate 20v turbo? Lowered with some wheels, they look the blocks, and theyre relativley cheap now.
  19. You can have mine for £4800. Suprisingly cheap to insure as well. £10 less than my polo 1.4!!
  20. bollocks to the car, check out the Yin Yang sattelite dish! (Actually the car is VERY nice)
  21. I don't like spoilers, but I think that looks quite understated. I'd give consideration to having one.
