Hi, Firstly I have searched the forums and can't seem to find any infos and I have tried the 'cleaning brushes' technique to no avail. Symptoms When spolier goes down it gets stuck about half way down, the motor gradually coming to a halt it would seem. It does it a) automatically (eventaully blows the fuse) b)when i operate it with the switch on dashboard c)when i use the twisty thing to manually raise or lower spoiler What to do? I pulled the twisty thing out and can run the spoiler motor back and forth via the switch on dash no probs. Spolier Motor is OK? Tried the 'cleaning brushes' and also tried some lube into spolier strut area from external spoiler mounting point. I hope that all my information is clear. Thanks for any help or suggestions.

Howdy ppl. I like my Corrado. Had it few weeks now. But it seems to like my wallet more than me hehe. Took it to vw for service(annual) and cambelt change and got it back with some notes, cv boot split (now fixed). oil leak from charger oil pipe? should have noticed this one :( plug leads(splitfire twin) too tight, couldnt check plugs. New problems after service ?! Car now stalls on cold start (never happened b4) Rev-o-meter readings are wierd. needle movement isnt smooth and seems to stick. wtf? any ideas i got to run! speak later! thanks guys!
