  1. Car gone, now these are on the Bay for 1 penny! http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/290671878821?ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1555.l2649#ht_500wt_1363
  2. Location: Tidwort, Wilts Price: 1700.00 GBP Date added to Classifieds: 29th Dec 2011 Description: 1995/M Volkswagen Corrado 2.9 VR6 Aqua blue with grey dash and grey cloth interior 185k miles (av 14k per year) MOT: Dec 2012 Tax: Feb 2012 6 Previous owners For sale is my VW Corrado VR6 I have owned since for the last 3 years. I have just MOT’d the car, and it has a couple of months of road tax left (which is £215 a year). Mechanically this car has been very well looked after, mainly by myself. I have a large folder full of invoices and receipts documenting all the service history back to 1997, VW service print-out from 1995-2002, MOT certificates going back to 2007 and any other maintenance work. Also included is the VW leather folder I obtained with a replacement service book and instruction manual, as it was missing when I bought the car. Bad points: • Bodywork in good condition, but in keeping with a 16 year-old daily used car. • Missing the window rubber on passenger side (got pulled off by the window when it had some tree sap on it) • Clutch may need changing soonish (no slipping, but squeals slightly on take-up) • Can take a few turns to catch when the engine is hot Good points: • Faultlessly reliable in my ownership • New KW v1 in Oct 2010 • Refurbished Speedlines in anthracite (one slightly kerbed) • VGC Hankook Icebear W300 tyres all-round • Miltek cat-back • Polybushed front • Poly & TDI engine mounts • Sony 6x9s in rear parcel shelf with Kenwood CD headunit • Good service history (last 70k meticulously by me – I’m an Incorporated Engineer with the IMechE if that makes any difference!) • Recent (180k) oil & filter service • 189 bhp on Surrey Rolling Road (June 2010) • I’ve averaged 32mpg over last 30k miles • Headlight loom relay and Philips bulbs • New front brake pads • EBC Yellowstuff rear pads • Laserline CAT 1 alarm (with installation certificate) • Engine pulls really smoothly and strongly throughout the whole rev range. No chain rattle. • MFA, ABS, ventilation, electric windows, sunroof, mirrors and spoiler are in full working order. It’s not a garage queen or a concours winner, but it’s a regularly used and well-maintained example in good condition and I’ll be really sad to see it go. I am only selling due to our first child and getting a 5-door. For further details or to arrange a viewing e-mail [email protected] Location: Tidworth (near Andover, Hampshire)

  4. Car gone, need these gone too: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/4x-Hankook-RS2-tyres-205-50-ZR15-/290666994291?pt=UK_Cars_Tyres_RL&hash=item43ad1a5a73#ht_500wt_1363 No reserve, pickup only from Wiltshire.
  5. Please see my eBay listing for a reduced bargain (IMHO!)... http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=290655893295#ht_1248wt_1348 Thanks, Rob
  6. Please see my listing: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=290556661806&ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT#ht_500wt_1156 Subframe fits in the Corrado runners, and you can mount your seatbelt clip to the subframe like OEM. Moves back and forth fine, and sits you not too high. Safe as the orignal, and passes MOT. Any interest?! ---------- Post added at 09:22 AM ---------- Previous post was at 09:18 AM ---------- Pic: Uploaded with ImageShack.us
  7. +1. I didn't beleive this until I had to replace them again about 7000 miles later...
  8. Wished you've have said, I had the same problem but found that Four Seasons Tuning stock them and shipped them to the UK for me along with lots of other lovely Gen VAG bits. Been very happy with my BFI mounts and have since helped my Bro fit them to his Goof VR6 and a friends Ibiza 1.8T. Interesting to see how the new front mount works out however if you do wanna order some BFI's just give me a shout and i'll drop you some details. Or, if you aren't worried about branding and think polyurethane is polyurethane, take your pick from: http://shop.ebay.de/?_from=R40&_trksid= ... Categories (Various hardnesses available too)
  9. Thanks guys. My thoughts were circa £2100, with 10% for haggling! Won't be for sale for another couple of months at least, but I don't expect to have it by the summer... fancy a change back to something different (RWD).
  10. I know it's a bit of a crap post, but having serious thoughts about a 944S2 and was wondering what people think my VR is worth. This is what the spec would be if I sell it: 1995 Aqua VR6 180k miles (mainly motorways - commuter) New KW v1s Refurbed Speedlines with good Hankook RS2s all-round Miltek cat-back Polybushed front Poly & TDI engine mounts Sony 6x9s in rear parcel shelf with JVC(?) CD player Good service history (last 70k meticulously by me - IEng with IMechE if you care!) Recent (180k) oil & filter service 189 bhp on Surrey Rolling Road av 32mpg over last 50k miles New clutch Mintex 1144 front pads/ EBS Yellowstuff rear pads replaced passener side window rubber! Also I have the following which I would sell: 4x Solitudes with nearly new Hankook Icebear W300 winter tyres Corbeau bucket seat & subframe Sparco suede wheel Any guesses? I guess no chains would be a minus, but there's no sound so I haven't had them done... A couple of very small spots of rust - have been 'Krust'ed for now, so no further rust. Various pics: Thanks!
  11. It got stuck on my window when I put it up once... Anyone got a spare one in good condition?!
  12. I am quickly becoming boring in advocating winter tyres. So so much better in the snow, but also in normal british cold/wet/slimy roads. [smug snow picture] PS can you spot what's missing off my car?! (and not "proper wheel centre-caps"...)

Good point - missed that 'T'! Pagid and PF have excellent reputations, but as they should with their prices.
