  1. your info is awsome and i should be able to set my timing.....i will have a shop look at the cam stuff...sounds alittle out of my tech. abilities...although i do know where it is cuz i took that cover off before... I'll keep ya posted on my results...thanks :)
  2. i will have to check that.....do you know how....i looked at my dist..and saw no bolt just a plastic piece and a wire conected..... ????may sound stupid but what is a cam belt????and where is it.....???? thanks for all your info ......ill take a look inside my dist today...it was just changed last month and was in real bad shape....
  3. ok...timing...hmmm.....is that something i can check myself..... knocksensor...is good and cable thingy... 3bar aka ron from rochester happens to be the guy with the awsome car at my work....nice c man...oh he also thought it sounds like my o2 sensor... if anyone knows of a chep yet good downpipe back exaust...no cat please let me know...

  5. ok changed vacume lines to oem lengths and clamped with oem clamps....still running bad........put new plugs in and set gap to .28 as they recomended......still running bad.....now if i unplug my blue sensor car just stalls out......????could this be from the isv rerought or is something else going on..........i cleaned all my grounds today and ecu ground...still the same......im thinking of lighter fliud and a match ......haha...no kiding love my german rocket... cool news though...since ive had my car only seen one other corrado.....well today i saw anotherone....a 91 g60 like mine but completly built sweet...god i love this car....oh and the guy works in the same building as me...note on the car...please help other 91 g60 owner ......
  6. if i disconect my blue sensor my car shuts right off......it use to just drop my idle down....now just off :?
  7. it is made to be used with a 3.5.....i've changed everything i can think of...going crazy...my plugs are black with fuel...my exaust is white....i know im getting to much fuel and flooding out....could timing do that..or a sensor???? I'm lost at this point :?:
  8. ok....changed plugs and vacume line...still have same problem....my plugs were all wet smelled like fuel...and were black........also.......is there sappose to be a wire hooked next to my distributor....blue maybe?? i held my maf and someone said it should vibrate....hmmm...it didnt seem to do anything....does it always vibrate........ checked thing on front of engine with wire comming from it...looks good does anyone know how to adjust timing and fuel into the throttle body...Where the screw is.... oh..and if anyone has a copy of the cd manual for this car...could i get a copy?? thanks
  9. ok today got new plugs........but they didnt have any vacume line how do i know...the vacume line they just sold me yesterday was washerfluid line and cant hold up without collapsing.....I dont know who is dummer...me for buying it or them for selling it..2 bucks...drained...hosers.....ok back to plugs.....no ngk...but auto lite platnum...app63 with a .026 gap...vw..dealer said he recomends them...hope he is right... :shock:
  10. OK 1 meter...the 30cm looked tooooo small so that makes more sense...back to store.......what are the best plus i can run...do they sell them in the u.s. thanks....
  11. ok......still sputtering at this point....the plugs...ill check today again..maybe theres a gap off...hell i'll buy new ones anyway.....the charger is just rebuilt and ported (rally) ,,,,,hoping maybe I put the wrong length vacume line on the ecu,,,today will cut down to 30 cm....
  12. i changed...the one vac to my ecu...it was full of a brown liquid........i'll look for the other one...sorry bought the caps i'm lazy.....

Hey guys...i'm having the same problem with a bbm chip..car was great before chip...put the chip, isv rerought, fpr3.5 and rally outlet in...now my car will only run as long as i dont punch the gas...can feather th r's up but as soon as i get on it ...sputter crap.....my first vw...and dont know tons about it...any help....things i know its not cuz i changed them today..plugs wire cap rotor,fuel filter fpr.. pulled my blue temp snsor while running idle went down almost to a stall then back up some changed all my vac lines.....rechecked all my airflow lines two other peeps e-mailed me with same prob. after intalling chips all diff manufactures edit for Caps......   14. if any one can help please let me know......i put an isv rerought kit in today from bbm as a friend said it would cure my problem......nope...changed all my vac lines...two were bad...still wont run right...cant floor it.........looked in my throttle body....the two butterfly valves on top are closed when....at no throttle the one under on the bottom is open......all seem to function ok.....could i need to adjust timing, or my fuel screw wherever that is..due to the new fpr..and chip..hhheeeeelllpppp me please im desperite to drive again
  15. i just replaced my plugs wires fuel filter dist ,cap rotor......still have problem....
  16. ok..today put in bbm stage 3 chip....3.5 fpr.....ralley outlet....car ran great before hand and now i can feal the power change ........it is huge, but if i go past about 1/2 throttle it sputters and is trying to catch up to itself........this also happens if i try to apply any kind of load..... :cry: i can hear the charger and everything go....give it alot off gas sputter sputter..... let off gas and its fine as long as i feather it up to speed.... also...before i did the work today my throttle was super stiff and sticking....i noticed a small kink in the throttle cable and replaced it..... it wants to go like a bat out of hell....i can feel the potential...just wont go
