although iv onlt just bought my rado im missing my bm quite alot, had a guy interested in swapping the rado for a touring, so last night i thought about it but the guy is no longer interested for some reason???? some bloody idiots about! anyway looked at some pics of my last few e30's yesterday and i really dont no which direction to go in now!

thats been for sale for bloody ages, birds had it for a while but its way to much power for a chassis that can barely handle an m3 engine

iv got a hotstart prob on my 1.8 16v, after its run for a while it refuses to start and not even a hint of trying to start! is there any area i should be looking at? cheers ad

i have a vast experience with carbs and really dont like injection due to the problems with the things and i really dont think you can beat a set of carbs for sound, the k-jet set-up is just a big pile of poo in my eyes if im honest mate, thaks for your input tho :D

pollybushing is a long way off at the moment, concentrating on the engine for now, iv got some ideas that might even involve a completly different engine layout :norty:

right i thought id start a thread as the car wont be standard for long, iv not got a camera at the mo but i will get some pics sorted this week for ya. the base car is a 1.8 16v, so the plans are- get power up to at least 175bhp, a pair of webber 45's and fanimold 4 branch and exhaust system custom matched cams for the carbs and a good old blueprinting of the engine! other plans- strip the interior polybush everything sparco buckets new suspension and some general love here and there :D and here is the turd in question :D :norty:

have you finished the caliper brackets yet?

i only paid £150 for the car so its not an issue, i might just run carbs instead of the engine swap

alright guys, what problems might i encounter with the above swap?? my car has the old k-jet injection system on it so im asuming there would be some kind of wirring issue? any help is much appreciated cheers adam

common vw problem this, most likely a breather pipe is split or damaged :D
