hope someone can help. sometimes it will go up no problems, but others it will go most of the way up, stop, then start moving up again til its fully extended. other times i end up pressing the switch to make it go up fully in one go so theres nothing wrong with the switch. Is it a case of taking the mechanism out and giving it a clean? cheers
  3. ok i will get a new one tomorrow and see how things go
  4. ok ive unplugged the ecu relay, switched the ignition on and the dash lit up so i dont think it can be that. possible immobiliser problems?
  5. the car will cut out at random times - normally when slowing down for a roundabout and wont start up for a good five minutes. I can arm/disarm the alarm, take the key out the ignition put it back again, turn it, and the dash still doesnt light up to let me know the immobiliser has disarmed even after pressing a button on the fob. On the other hand it does turn over no problems so cant be battery related. Does this sound like symptoms of fuel pump/ecu relay at all? It does have a toad ai606 alarm btw! thanks for the help!
  6. think i might have to rethink the wheel situation. i saw a rado vr6 on vortex with the rims i wanted and they give it too much of a steamroller look. cheers for the help!
  7. thanks for the reply. the wheels only come in et15 so there isnt alot i can do with the offset. My corrado is an N reg and have been told the late rados have very slightly wider arches?
  8. is this possible up front? i found an old thread on here via google and someone said it requires alot of work to get 9j et15s to fit on the front axle. If this is right, what sort of work is needed? id like to know what im up against before i spent £££ on new rims thanks alot!
