Help needed...?? I hear a loud whistling noise when i press the brakes while 'reversing'. It doesnt whistle when pressing the brakes when driving forward, only when reversing and its bloody annoying. The minute i take my foot off the brakes while reversing, the whistling goes. So its definately something to do with me brakes but i dont understand why it only happens when i reverse :shrug: Any suggestions???? Thanks

Cheers peeps. I think it'll have to be VW. It wouldve been the 10mm ones but if they dnt fit in the plastic cover then i probably wont go for them. :lol:

The time has come to change my ignition leads on my VR. Should i buy the originals from VW or can anybody recommend anything better i.e Neuspeed Leads????? If anybody can provide a link as to where i can can get the recommended leads from then that'll be great :salute: Cheers peeps!

Iv just fitted some ULTRA LED Bulbs with resistors and they are flashing AMBER however, there not that bright. Especially in the sun..!! Do you think the LEDS shown on page 1 are brighter?? Should i invest in them?? If so, will i need to get new resistors OR will the current resistors do the job??? :shrug:

Yeh i think it does. My tints are quite a heavy red and i laquered it about 3 times. Dint want my rears to BRIGHT red! I think i am gna go for the LED's but i dnt have the time to do it so im gna get sum1 to do it...as long as its sorted once n for all! Its gettin on me nerves now :brickwall:

Peeps, i have just tried the GREEN bulbs and they still flash RED....!! Aaaaargh!! Id like to try the LED Bulbs now but i dont know HOW or wetha they would fit on my rear lights as i have the crystal clear rears which i sprayed red and anybody who has the crystals will know that they dont have the whole bulb unit (like the standard rears) at the back of them, its only bulb holders which u twist into at the back of the light :scratch: How would i do it..??

I think my mechanic did check the engine bay and all was fine :confused4: I just dnt know where this bloody water is cummin from...!!

I wish i could get a friendly MOT Tester :) I really dont have the time to buy standard lights and swap them over. I want them to flash Orange, not only for the MOT but for my personal preference too.

Well i dont know, i have read that somewhere but i personally dont think it will flash Amber :?

I have recently sprayed my rear lights all red and they look great HOWEVER, the indicators are flashing RED (obviously) and i have my MOT due soon :( How can i get them to flash AMBER?? Somebody please help........MOT due soon. Thanks

I have a leak at the drivers side, near the door (wher the feet go) and i dont know how to solve the problem :( The wierd thing is that it only happens when it's heavily rained. It doesnt happen often but i need t get it sorted. Any suggestions peeps...??
