  1. Hi I have a late set of Heater controls with all tabs and smooth operation. Doesn't have the front cover though so would suit replacement. PM if interested. Cheers Oli
  2. Probably an easy fix for someone on here...... http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=200699600814#ht_1116wt_1346 ---------- Post added at 08:43 PM ---------- Previous post was at 07:05 PM ---------- Offers welcome. Best stands at £700 so far.
  3. Hi guys, sorry to keep reposting this but in desperate need of a classic green bonnet if anyone's got one. Serious lacquer peel and scratches and can't afford respray.
  4. I was so excited I'd found one I didn't even read that properly! (what a bell***) Cheers guys.
  5. Hi guys, Just wondering if a certified Corrado geek ;) could tell me if this exhaust would definitely fit. Got a late 95 VR6. The guy sounds a bit unsure in the description: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/VW-CORRADO-STAINLESS-STEEL-EXHAUST-MILLTEK-16V-8V-VR6-/220768162856?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item3366ced428#ht_500wt_1128 Cheers Oli
  6. Yer thanks dude, think that was dragon green, I've got my eye out on there. Lacquer has started peeling badly just on the bonnet and don't really anna fork out for a respray. ---------- Post added at 09:39 PM ---------- Previous post was at 09:38 PM ---------- Hi emu, how badly scratched is it? The paint work on mine is horrific so it probably isn't too bad in comparison....
  7. Classic Green Bonnet/Late style.
  8. Classic Green Bonnet needed!
  9. Too true, that's when I just let them get on with it. There's a big differnece between driving fast and driving fast safely that a lot of people just don't understand. It always amazes me how fast people drive in the ****ing rain just on the motorway in there executive saloon living rooms completely unaware of standing water and the possibility of aquaplaning. Maybe that's just me though and my whistling corrado windows.....
  10. Oh yer totally guys I'm not kidding myself, just stating they don't do too badly for an oldy. You all the know that anyway though!
  11. Yer I've had a few encounters with some ST's but have always seemed to have the edge. I found that once I got used to driving with the VR6 and knowing exactly what gear to put it in to get the most out of it you can easily embarrass some much quicker cars with drivers that haven't quite got the technique of 'dropping it down a gear!' All good fun if you're sensible!
  12. Hi all I thought no one would mind if I did some needed bigging up for the VR6. Hoping not to sound like a boy racer (you've all done it) but on my way back from work last night and was a set of traffic lights opening straight onto a Dual Carriageway. I can't believe how well it kept up with a Porsche Carrera 4! Sure it had the edge but once the old girl got rolling she was on it's tail all the way to the next set of lights. And I paid 4k for my car! It's embarrassed Ford st's and some TT's many a time and I just think it's hilarious that a 15 year old VW can hold it's own so well. Admittedly it's been embarrassed a few times but It can usually be justified when the cars are worth about 5 times as much. As a 21 year old on a budget it was the best car I could have bought and all the ball ache is worth it!
  13. Anyone on here been to Buckmore Park Karting in Kent? They have some wicked little arrive and drive championships if you're bored of kicking your mates arses on your birthday! Not full of exceedingly fast 7 year olds weighing a stone either. http://www.buckmore.co.uk/content.php/30020
  14. I'll be taking mine in on Friday so will let you know if he finds a soultion.
  15. I've had exactly the same problem 2 days ago re full-beam, my garage said that it's common for leaks under the windscreen to make there way to the fusebox? He replaced it once and it did the trick but 3 weeks later it broke again. I havn't got an uprated loom either though.......
  16. Hi Kip, To be honest I'm not sure what I need! My full beam doesn't work when you pull the stalk, it just goes out! (handy) Second time it's happened now and last time my garage fixed it by just replacing fuse box with a second hand passat one, hence why I'm looking for another one. They suggested it's probably a leak finding it's way to fuse box. 5 Corrados!! Ever had a similar problem?? They appeared to reuse the relays from old one so might be worth taking you up on that offer if you can fit some fuses. Cheers Oli
  17. Hi Kip, That sounds great, all the fuses good etc?
  18. Also need a fuse box if anyones got one. Cheers again.
  19. Hey guys are these the AP Coilovers mentioned in this thread? http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/AP-Coilover-Kit-Corrado-53i-16V-G60-VR6-9-88-/220539908926?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM Cheers
  20. Hey guys just thought I'd put up a bit of a recommendation for this garage in Guildford even though I've seen a few on here already, I'll clarify it! Taken my Corrado VR6 there twice now. Once to have the rear shocks done and the other for a Full service MOT, and to fix a problem with my headlights. The guys there, Phil and Jonny are very helpful and have done a fantastic job each time and saved me a fortune with good condition second hand parts they have managed to find for me. Also found they'd tweeked things like loose trim etc without me even asking! I know between them they have owned various corrados as well so they know what they are talking about. So if your in the Guildford area. Definitely the place to go! SE Autoworks Tel: 01483 300096
  21. Hi my Headlights havn't had any of the wriring uprated but have just began having a problem with the Full Beam not working. When I pull back the stalk my headlights just turn off altogether, however I have no idea where the relays for the headlights are? I read somewhere that there between the passenger side headlight and battery but I can't find anything. Any ideas anyone? Cheers Oli
