    Vr6 gear knob

If its a replacement gear knob you are after thats better than the one you have then i had mine recovered for either 20 or 25 quid way cheaper than getting another and its absolutely spot on.
  12. Sorry part numbers H10 919 506
  13. Hi just wondering if anyone has a fan module going or tried any aftermarket direct fit one if there is any as mines failed. Thanks
  14. Hi all after some advice if possible my Corrado vr6 has some strange idle issues. Other day went out and totally fine, went to have a look at a place evening time when dark and while waiting car starts idling up and down upto about 1500 rpm like I'm pressing the pedal on and off quick then it stopped. Turned lights off and it did it again and so on lights on lights off heaters on heaters off like there's a surge in power causing the issue .Tried it this afternoon and nothing tried lights and heaters and nothing. It's been going on for weeks but I dont use the car alot. Went to town was out couple of hours fans constant in and out sat in traffic and not a thing happend ran spot on that was last week. Few weeks before went to see parents over by the sea couple of hours drive nothing all the way till I hit Beverly and it started doing it then stopped. All the way back not a thing happend so what ever it is is hit and miss. Been out earlier started it up no issues pulled off the airflow plug and it stalled took off the throttle body sensor and it revved up high and back to normal when plugged back In.jiggled wires that I could see around not a thing.changed isv few weeks back as that's what someone suggested and cleaned before refitting and runs better but still doing the same thing on and off.has anyone got any ideas as I'm all out of them.
  15. Hey up all was just leaving the folks earlier in bridlington and just as i was getting in the car a red Corrado h reg I think otherwise Sebring alloys tootled past the bottom of the drive and up the road its typical when I wasn't in my rado this time. Is it anyone from here at all.
  16. That's what local garage was gonna charge me if the place that did it wouldn't accept responsibility but they have and it's going back next week.
  17. Took my Corrado to have tracking done yesterday just about to have a steady drive to see my parents today and thought strange there's grease on the alloys they actually melted both side boots with the gas bottles 150 +vat to sort out so I can see this being a fight and a half not happy at all

    Headlights

Hi all just a query as to if anyone selling a pair of headlights for a 93 Corrado vr6 both mine have a tab broken on the top and one now has a broken adjuster so think a possible change but all depending on the price 😀
  21. Could be worth taking the plunge and stripping it a down I had issues with mine for ages and replaced this and that and it just needed stripping down and cleaning. Takes a couple of hours and not had an issue since. Had issues with temp gauge aswell changed the thermostat as soon as u travel the temps dropping below 70 so thinking thermo stuck open put new one in switches replaced over year ago and now sits at 70 so not sure what's happening as fans kick In doesnt over heat or anything
  22. All can really say is put 2 isv's on and neither would run the car unless u throttle it and on putting the old one back on it starts and is fine just has an occasional lumpy start first thing or it cuts out sometimes
  23. Hi guys after some advice if possible please Have a slight rough start for split second when starting car from cold.mentioned it to someone who deals in repairs on Corrados and they mentioned the isv so I bought a replacement slapped it on and car would not idle at all. So put old one back and idled ok again. Contacted company they said could be faulty so they replaced it. Put new one on and car today it started but idled very low for a second or so then used normal i left it for a few hours. Took car out at 8 started at low idle again went less than half a mile stopped the car did an errand and got back in and car wouldnt idle at all any ideas as I see the adjustment screw is covered in glue or something to stop adjustment just like the old one. Cheers for any help
  24. Hi I just seen your message as gave up coming on here as figured everyones hiding somewhere even tho I keep seeing them around. Didn't realise yours was being a problem for u it looked good on the photos I saw, and I seen the guy with the average one many times but the lad with the white one not seen him for months so wondered if he sold it .been to a few gatherings but not seen another yet. I spend some money on mine in the last 2 years and hopefully sending it in for the chain redoing which isn't cheap so probly stands me bout 6 to 7 k so far. What's been happening with yours hope it's nothing too serious.

    Missfire

Ok complete update on missfire issue, coilpack helped but didn't stop it striped mass flow and cleaned still had issue, stripped isv cleaned and still same issue, ordered some more plug with the 4 electode ones even tho I had just put some single electrode ones in and replaced the ht leads aswell fired it up and was worse than ever, so traced the ht leads again and see 6 and 4 were wrong swapped them and runs spot on so I only assume one of the leads had broken, even tho they weren't that old.
