She's a beauty ate!

My rado's not happy, keeps cutting out and has tempremental revs, its getting spark at the dizzy cap and the plugs and the ignition coil has been replaced....its a 2.0l 8v....its had a reving problem but was never this bad, seems to have got much worse over the past day, car is now un-driveable....any help is really appreciated!

Put a post up previously about my revs occasionally while driving. My rado's a 2.0l 8v so apparently there's no isv. While drivinvg on the motorway today the revs started to jump about as they have done occasionally but this time they dropped really low, the car jerked violently, the accelerator seemed to be dead. Really need to sort this soon guys so any help would be greatly appreciated

love the work you put into the seats mate, they came out lush! ive got mk3 recaros aswell which i fitted in my mk4 polo (the take the same frames as mk3 golfs) how did u swap the frames to the mk2 ones? and how did you retain the pockets on the seat bases?

Right, funny story did an emergency brake today, felt somthing fly around in the footwell, had a root around and four the number 30 relay! can someone tell me where it goes please!?!?!

its the radiator fan, cheers for the help will give the wd40 a shot!

Right my fan seems to be fookd, vibrates, squeaks and all sorts so im thinking to replace it. its a 2.0l 8v are all the fans the same size or would a mk3 golf one work? i need to sort it asap as i have to drive back to uni on sunday and most mechanics are telling me to wait a week or two......please help! thanks

it seems to be getting worse now, started squealing and sounds like the fan is knocking against something aswell as there is a slight tapping sound, im just thinking completely new fan

Hi there, looking to convert my 8v from 4x100 to 5x100, have no idea where to begin or what i need so if you guys could point me in the right direction it would be greatly appreciated!

had a look on the fan and there dont seem to be any weights on the blades, the fan itself seems pretty secure theres a slight amount of play but nothing too serious....took the car to a mechanic and he said the motor might be burning out, is this possible or is he tryna rip me off?.

i have painted lights, went to halfrauds today, they do an amber led kit which includes the resistors, costs £20 bit pricey like but does the job, my indicators now flash in time and in a lovely shade of amber! cheers for the wiring pics zak, helped me out a lot!

My fan has started going crazy on me....while stationary the fan kicks in and spins incredibly fast and sends a deep shudder throughout the car.......continues after switching the engine off until the fan shuts off.....any ideas guys? faulty fan switch or even faulty fan?

top corrado mate! lovin the look and the work thats gone into it! Where can you get the 8J lm replicas from? Most places on stock the 7.5J versions..cheers
