no just the dishes im affraid the barrels were in real good nik had to replace the center caps too as they were fcuked! cost me 20 quid per dish to get them to a perfect mirror finish tried doing them myself but was a ball ache to get rid of the grainy lines splitting them down and refitting was fun as never done it before...turned out well though luckily-no leaks :D
-
loving the choice of wheels :D are they 5x100? the dishes suffering from laquer peal? if they are then i strongly recomend you send the dishes to a specialist striped mine with nitromors when i got them then sent them off a guy i know. came back like this!

Christ it must have taken you some time to dig up this old thread! can never resist some epeen flexing so heres a few of mine  -
depends what your driving style is like if you just want to go fast then iv heard alot better things about the BAM 20vt (light and very tunable) but if you want something comftable and dependable go for the R32 the R32 will earn you alot more scene points too as its less common
-
not if ones a nissan micra and the other is a ferrari
-
true but theres also plenty of rados with under 150k being broken! at the end of the day if its in good condition overall and drives well then anything that does go wrong can be replaced :D high milage is only a ball ache when it comes to re-sale :gag:

power to weight ratio  should fit straight on as should be 5x100 unless they've been running adaptors?? what width are they? just bought myself some 8j 4x100 ones for my G with worn tyres for £350 delivered bargain! lol

Help and advice needed on new wheel selection?
Wastegate86 replied to JNVR6storm's topic in General Car Chat
bumpy ride should be down to the suspension rather than the size of your wheels  looks like it could do with a drop too so either a decent spring/damper upgrade or a softish set of coilovers would be my recomendation personally think rados look better with either 16/17s though so would keep the wheels you've got for the time being -
worth looking at edition38 too 8)

had one a few years ago, great all round hot hatch found the engine and gear changes fantastic however the clutch's are so heavy that it can ruin the driving experience a bit :? overall found it mega reliable in the year i owned it, but it had been well looked after. the only major downside IMO is the styling is way out dated so the corrado wins hands down for me :salute:
-
big can of worms im affraid rebuilds can vary depending whats fucked on the engine head gasket,block,pistons..... a specialist would charge anything from about £500 to £3000 depending on what needs replacing what can be cheaper is finding someone selling an engine thats been rebuilt then paying to fit, however you then need to be sure who you're buying from :brickwall: when it comes to upgrading the engine I've heard the 2.8 24v and 1.8 20vt conversions costing 3/4k
-
sounds interesting would love to see how a 20vt rado goes how much you recon it'll be??
-
good choice need to get rid of the orange rears tho IMO :norty:
