:cry: Sorry to hear that Jim. Used to see your C around Tile Hill now and again, and it used to turn my head........don't think the Saxo will have quite the same effect (not on me anyway!) :( Don't stay away from the VAG stable for too long!!.................... :lol:

I'd be wary of the Intellistart on a manual car - a chap on VWvortex (US forum) started his modded Mk2 Golf this way...and ended up damaging the front end of the car and his wall/fence as it was left in gear!! :shock: :oops:

It has a Corrado leather buckets with armrest in rear, and leather Recaros up front! :D 8)

No probs, just drop me a mail or something. The engine has done about 100k IIRC, and I'm pretty certain has FSH - I think the charger was done about 20k ago but I was gonna have it rebuilt before putting it into my car anyway (not that I'm paranoid or anything!! :shock: ). I would be looking for approx £1200 ono.......... Cheers

I may be able to help.....I have a full G60 engine out of a Corrado ie. engine/charger/loom/ecu/box that I was planning to drop into my Mk2 Golf. May wait and do a VR6 or possibly a 20vT so I might be selling if you're interested?........ Cheers

Even more annoying/frustrating when you dent/scratch your car yourself!! :roll: Immobiliser was playing up on mine last week, got relayed home by RAC about 1am, and while pushing the car onto the drive managed to scrape the rear qtr on girlfriends Polo front bumper!!! :oops: May try out those Dentmaster peeps......

What engine is it? On the 16v it sould be cold start valve (blue plug), or warm-up reg?

One point to remember is that the Supersport coilovers are height-adj only and don't have damping adj - although they do have 30% stiffer dampers than standard. Prob not a big issue unless you do a lot of track days and like to play with different damping settings! 8) HTH

Yep, I'd like to see the Audi 200 intercooler also - did you have to get much custom pipework fabricated? My mate used a company called Rad-Tec in Wolverhampton to custom-build a Golf Rallye spec intercooler - cost him about £270 all in.

I've seen a VR6 (in a Mk2) with a Blitz induction kit - looked superb, don't know what it sounded like or how easy to fit tho?!

Jims16v> Have you tried AB Motorsport in Leamington? They're a Powerflow dealer and make custom exhausts in stainless steel and are very good - my brother had a full system made for his Vento with letterbox tailpipe, excellent fit/finish! :D And they'll make it as silent/loud as you want!! 8) If you need a VAG mechanic, give me a shout - guy who looks after mine can sort you out. Mine is running again now, Immobiliser probs sorted so see you around!! [waves] :D
