Thanks guys, any idea what TDI starter I should look for as I think this might be a better option. For some reason this car does not like starter motors as I have swapped it twice already.

Could anyone tell me if the starter motor from an 1.8 16v would fit a 2ltr 16v please? Or are they totally different? Thanks in advance, Lee.

16's do indeed fit over 312's as I had 16's for winter wheels till I broke 1.

Thanks for the reply's. I have 17's on already which is the minimum recommended from what I have been told. I'm running S3 on the front already and know they need a spacer but only because a mechanic has told me. Modifying is not my strong point , just know what I like lol.

Hi, need a little advice. Does anyone know if the Brembo GT Junior Big Brake Kit for the Audi TT will fit a Corrado VR6 or will I be looking at modifications to make it fit. Also will the S3 rear calipers fit? Thanks for looking, Lee.

Thanks Jim, Not quite as close as I had hoped but not a million miles away.

Ok I'm no expert, far from it in fact but I believe I can here a few noises coming from the engine bay that shouldn't be there. Some of them are intermittent but not in the way that it sound rough on start up and then calms down as it warms up. So far I have taken it to several garages and a couple of "engine specialists" but they all want to do work based on guess work at stupid prices. So yes you have guessed what comes next. Does anybody know of any VR6 specialists or people that have worked on VR6 engines and know what they are talking about with in the Nottingham/Mansfield area? Thanks, Lee
